The Devil's Horsemen at Cromer Carnival 2019

Perhaps the most spectacular of medieval sports was that of jousting. A Paston Letter from Sir Joh Paston to his brother “My hand was hurt at the Tourney at Eltham upon Wednesday last, I would you had been there and seen it, for this was the goodliest sight that was seen in Inglande this forty years.” Cromer Carnvial generally includes a great riding display from the Devil's Horsemen and this year they were at the lists to show us just what jousting was like.
