Awesome review! Planning on upgrading my truck and my RV in the near future and Alliance RV is who I plan on going with. I am very very impressed with the thought processes that went into designing this. They actually spent 6 months on Facebook, forums, RV parks, traveling etc to do face to face with customers to see what we actually wanted and our thoughts vice shoving something they think well work. Turned out fantastic. These guys are the next big thing.
This and the Montana High Country 294RL are my current "if I won the lottery or decided to retire next week" 5th wheels. I love the bathroom, dishwasher prep, and attention to details on the Alliance while the Montana gets me with that glass front window in the bedroom.
We toured the Alliance factory last week in Elkhart. Impressed and worth the trip to see how it was all put together. The team answered every question we threw at them and promptly followed up with a couple of emails we sent afterward. Too, we weren't rushed through the factory tour. We've decided to get the 310 once we get back to Oregon - wife likes the size, amenities, and floorplan. FYI, Guaranty RV in Junction City and Curtis Trailers in Beaverton, Oregon are now Alliance dealerships.

Matt’s RV review did a factory tour of Alliance. I really like this company. They seem to go above and beyond as far as build quality. They also listen to users and make changes accordingly. An Alliance would be at the top of my list if I were shopping for a fifth wheel
I just love Alliance RV’s. Can’t wait to get my own. It checks a lot of the boxes that I have been looking for in a RV.

JD, I like that you always start your reviews of rv’s with the numbers, but you always fail to mention the length. I think that would be helpful for those of us that don’t full-time or that are weekend warriors. Just a suggestion.
It's a 310RV , so that means it's 31 feet long . All RV codes on the side say the length I believe .
@@banishedfromars That's not really accurate for length. Published length is 34'11" which is usually to the pin box. Actual length is probably closer to 36' to front of the cap to back of the ladder
@@banishedfromars that's the interior length. Plus, not all codes have the length in it. Many do not.
Yes the length matters as we're looking for another medium size fifth wheel that we can also tow a boat behind like our last rig.
just need to know things like the pin weight and the gvwr.

Very nice.....will be curious as to how they hold up over time. Like the disc brake option. I also believe these rigs are competitively priced. And from what I've heard the company is very customer oriented and quick to respond to any customer concerns/issues
They don't have anything on trim on the windows. Someone can look sideways at night into your unit.

Another very informative video on what appears to be a very nice unit. Just before finding this video, I watched one from the You Me and the RV channel with Phil and Stacy titled "5TH WHEEL RV TOUR (Best Features)." They were at the 2022 Tampa RV Show and were reviewing the 2022 Alliance 310RL too. What was interesting in that very nice video was that Alliance was advertising that they added over 100 updates that customers asked for into that newer unit. What was even more interesting is that the new features you reviewed in this video are pretty much the same as the unit with the same model number has 18 months later. The only thing that might have changed was that the dinette slide looks a little flatter and doesn't appear to have that large 1.5" bump-up you mentioned might become an issue with the vinyl covering wearing prematurely along the top edge. It makes me wonder what the "100" things they updated actually are. Regardless of the RV company update issues, both review videos are very informative and interesting.

Love the look of the Alliance Paradigm just not sure hubby will go for cost. We don’t full time however we anticipate staying out a couple of months twice a year to beat cold and heat. Love everything you get in these 5th wheels. We hope to upgrade from bump pull grand Design Imagine to 5th wheel.

The panel behind the wet bay that opens is the coolest thing I've seen! Better than taking out 6 screws to get to a water pump or whatever. Wish all had that feature. Would make my job much easier and cheaper for the owner. Time is money after all.
I agree on the shower seat, it scares me as well. I love the look of the shower, very residential.

Great Video and Explanation with the Tour JD!! When I watch your Video's on a Rv, I learn more in 15 min about the product than any where else on Utube! Keep up the great work JD! My humble opinion is, you can't beat the Alliance 370 FB it is a beautiful unit.

I had a Samsung residential refrigerator. It died. It was under warranty too. Took 2 months for the warranty to cover it and they had to remove my slide to get it out.
The RV dealership can only remove the slide. If they touch the fridge it's automatically out warranty.
Read the fine print!
Crazy it took that long. In 99% of cases they can be repaired at your location by a Samsung certified tech. You should need to take your unit to the dealer.
This is really pretty. I especially liked when you were showing the pantry and reached up and took hold of the shelf. I was clearly able to see that it had a nice retaining edge to the pantry shelf; that's a great feature. And the bathroom was beautiful. I'm appreciating the showers in fifth wheels being two piece since your comment about if they have to be removed. And they are more attractive as well.
I like the "extras" that Alliance is including with their rigs. For the most part their floor plans are like all the others but my guess is that their build is a step up as they pay special attention to quality before quantity in order to establish a foot print in the market place. Now is the time to buy Alliance before they are gobbled up by one of the big guys. I own a 2017 Highland Ridge/Open Range 3X model with the no-carpet slides and vinyl flooring that covers over the flush floor mechanism. Three years in and no problem with wear on the vinyl covers, however, I can see where it could be a problem several years down the road. Just mentioning because no-carpet slides have been around for a while so it is a proven method. I do know that on some Open Range Models there have been complaints that the vinyl crimps/crushes/bends when you pull the slides in. Fortunately on the model I own, this is not the case.

GORGEOUS !!! We're starting to look into another fifth wheel just for hitting the lake in the summer but small enough to still tow a 22' fish and ski boat behind ! Our first one was a 29'6" Damon Challenger and towed our 19'6" Larson fish and ski behind and worked GREAT !!
Gorgeous. Excellent floor plan. Can get to bathroom and frig when the slides are in. Wish I had seen this a year ago.

Really like this unit. Great floorplan, appliances, and amenities. The only drawback for me is the lack of night stands in the bedroom. I sleep with a CPAP and would need to have a place for it.
They built a shelf specifically for a CPAP machine on either side of the bed.
I really like Alliance it seams they listen to the people what they like and put it in their RV's . As you can tell by this one again I really like wish I had one .
Sure wish they had a divider wall between the stove area and entertainment area. Have to imagine there’s a chance of getting grease from the stove on the television. Great and detailed review. Thank you!
Talk about quality. Very few RV manufacturers use Azdel on their walls as well as a PVC Roof!!! Durability is key when talking about full time living! Great review as always sir. :)
I’m kinda new so I’ve never even heard of Alliance but I really like it! Surprised to see 3 smaller ACs in a unit this size but love the fridge!

Ok I guess I'm a tad behind the times as just saw a 12 compressor fridge for the 1st time. As i am very busy with a/cs slides and refeeres, I was unaware of the 12volt rv compressor fridges that came out relativity early in the year. Granted the big bucks one had the but that was, or is , out of the scoop of most weekenders.

Just looked at the prices at trailer dealer you talk about. I guess supply and demand has kicked in, only $2k off retail price compared to 20k +\- a few months ago.
I figured there wouldn't be much discounting on these unless or untill they get their production numbers up.
Love that bathroom. I wouldn't sit on the fold out seat...but it's ideal for shaving legs.

How does the oven work? I got sick of trying to make anything decent come out of the “standard” rv oven, so I bought a convection oven but it takes a lot of counter space.

Alliance make some really nice 5th wheels. I have looked at a couple of them and they seem to have very good quality and Workman ship in their 5th wheels. I have seen any negative reviews on them yet. Thanks for sharing the video and review of the Alliance JD.

I started seeing Alliance a little while ago, there RV’s are very well put together!! The craftsmanship looks great, but I can’t find a dealer anywhere near me !!
Interesting they are using an 8" drop frame. The GD Solitude 310GK is using a 10" drop frame (S-Class 2930RL also uses a 10" drop frame with a 10" or 12" main frame). Curious if that matters as much?
I most certainly prefer a 10" on 12" Drop/main frame. Solitude, Brookstone, Big Horn, Big Country, and LUXE are some of the only manufacturers that use a 10" on 12" drop frame.
We have owned our 310RL for nearly 6 months now, however only made 1 week long trip in it. It is a 2020 model so things are slightly different (ex the fireplace slide out is locked in a different way, the leveler system is inside the basement, etc...). Only problem with the floor is that the linoleum on the galley side has a semi permanent "roll" to it. And my biggest issue thus far is that frame has a newly designed pin box (where the fifth wheel pin is attached) and it is called a "Rhino Box" and it does NOT fit a Reese Goosebox! I now have to have the ugly, heavy 5th wheel hitch in the bed of my pickup :-(

@@jarrodwedding1123 Looking at the floorplans they have some really nice units. Perhaps similar in layout but the Paradigm really seems to stand out with the features. I love to cook and if we are going to go full time I really want a kitchen like they offer. Thank you for your response!

Love the looks, fit and finish of this rig, just don't know if we can afford compared to Grand Design 337 type rig.

You have a great point, but I have Medical Issue's and to me this is a buying point, as I need to sit down and so I trust the build quality of Alliance to make sure it is up to code.
Most RVs with larger bathrooms have a full seat. Just not one that folds down

BTBRV, I love your videos! You are teaching me so much about what to look for when I purchase my RV. However what I don't know is what does 2500 pounds of storage look like? It sems like 5th wheels have so much storage and every video I watch is all about needing storage space, but 2500 pounds isn't much weight? Can you do a video about that or if you already have comment with a link to it. Thanks

I like the layout and colors. It was a little difficult to see some of the footage due to the lighting causing the camera to shoot darker. The audio was loud in the beginning but there were moments it became much lower during different times in the video. Normally you are aware of those factors, but seemed you were rushing through the tour. Enjoy your videos and have recommended them to friends to watch so they can learn from you. Be safe.

Okay we have this unit. For the most part a nice unit. I like the fridge, full sized oven and the island. Unfortunately first time we took it out it had a lot of cosmetic issue.😩. Shower head fell apart , lots of trim issues,screws missing from chair etc. For the cost, I was disappointed. Hopefully next time we go out it will be a better experience

Just add some Felt under the Flex Slide Flooring Strip to reduce the friction.
I will double the life and reduce the chance of a crease developing.

Very good review. After seeing a couple of your Alliance fifth wheel videos, I really like the brand. As will all fifth wheels, there are a couple of things I would do differently. First, I'm not a big fan of the entertainment center with the TV setting back so far. Also, the back window seems smaller than other fifth wheel rear living room floor plans. Otherwise a very good unit.

I’m not a fan of residential fridges & what was the excuse for not covering up the panel?
The one thing I don't like is the washer and dryer in the closet, you would have to move your clothes left and right to access them. They should have used the separate door area like just about every other fifth wheel(mine has it separated). It also minimizes the amount of storage in the closet.
Hi, just a thought not being negative in any way. Suggest try using “soft close” drawers vs “slow close”

Yuri Michelle Gudiño it’s an RV, so not an investment. Not trying to be pithy, but rv’s devalúe as fast as boats. We would all do well to remember that.

Not having a convection microwave because you have a gas oven is a very poor excuse. They are very different appliances. Besides the fact that one burns up your propane, the convection microwave can be used like a toaster oven. It heats up in a fraction of the time, and is much more convenient than a full blown oven. It's not great for real cooking, but you can't beat it for stuff coming out of the freezer. I'd gladly pay extra it it was offered as an option. Love it in Montana.

I love this unit. The only complaint, and it's a big one for me when it comes to fifth wheels, no where to put my CPAP machine.

lisa evans I follow the Alliance brand and apparently there is a shelf lower on either side specifically for a CPAP. I’ve also read current owners who have to use one comment on how they loved the fact that it was there.

Lots of nice features but it sure looks like a copy of Grand Designs 310GK which has been in production for 4 or 5 years. Funny how it has a 310 in it's model#! Thanks for all your broad based videos.
Nice unit! Just no bunk / library/ office room for family and friends. Was that a fireplace style heater that slid open for storage below the television? I really like the counter space on both sides of the stove. So the refrigerator only works off a generator or campground hookup AC power and never off our propane? I guess it's a compressor refrigerator not the RV absorption type refrigerator? I also wish they'd keep the space outside under the RV open and ready to install the traditional folding entry stairs if we don't want those solid one piece steps that we must fold inside the RV. I'd like to see more things like this available as an option so we have more freedom and easy way to customize our RV. That's good thinking regarding the shower wall mounted seat. I'd certainly hope they used strong metal beams/ metal bracket system inside the wall to guarantee it's strength, stability and durability. Thanks 👍🏼
Would have liked to see more space in the bedroom. It needs nightstands. The fifth wheel we have now has night stands on both sides. They held my glasses, books, lotion, and all the essentials a girl loves.

Quite simply...Alliance out shines all the rest of the RV manufactures. I wouldn’t worry about that seat in the shower, I’m sure they’ve tested it out rather well.
