Very encouraging. I have just completed a roof of 2000sq feet to start a roof garden. But I would like to know how to get rid of the rain water during monsoons. My flat roof is properly sloped to drain the water, but with so many containers blocking the flow???. I am thinking of raising the containers 6" above the roof. Is it O.K.

hi! thanks for making & sharing the video ..Im wondering about drip irrigation for an assorted pot / plants set up whcih would mostly be along the parapet and sides of the terrace .would u have any leads on where i could get someone to set it up. this is required by my landlord so that the terrace floor stays dry and there is no seepage caused by blocked drains. with mud and leaves etc ..i need to find a solution and get my terrace garden going... !

No problem. Till today there is no such report of chemical oozing from the container in to soil affecting the plant. However, if you put hot food directly in a plastic bowl and eat, it is not good. But for planting no problem.

What kind of plastic material be used for wooden pot
You may put big poly bag inside while filling soil. But normally it is not done. Wooden box will remain for 2 to 3 years.

Waterproofing is not compulsory. Nothing will happen to the terrace even after many years.
Any plant i can grow which requires less sunlight as I have shaded my terrace with cement roof
