Wheeler Creek to Coppertone to Carefree Trail, Copper Mountain

A popular top to bottom run at Copper Mountain, Colorado, is Wheeler Creek Trail to Coppertone Trail and Lower Carefree Trail. The run starts at the top of the Rendezvous Chairlift at 11,853 feet and finishes at lower terminal of the American Flyer Chairlift at 9,778 feet. The run is 2.2 miles long and the skier will drop 2,075 feet from top to bottom.
The runs are all groomed so it is easy skiing with carefree carving on the smooth snow surface. Feel good ski candy for a big fun appetite. The terrain is varied with fast flats and very manageable pitch changes. The steepest pitches are on Lower Carefree as you drop in to Center Village. The entire run is very scenic as you are traveling through and seeing the spectacular mountain scenery that surrounds Copper Mountain, Colorado.
