Fletcher being able to put out such an amazing paint job in such a short time is one of many reasons he is my favorite painter! The crew is lucky to have him 😊

Thanks for this, always nice to see a new army and also a smaller game. Would be interested to see some smaller games as you get more new models ie. 1000 and 1500 points so new models get decent screen time.
As well as for those of us still trying to get our heads around the changes since 5th. Can only get some smaller games in so great to see how things differ between the different points.
Nice to see GW put the pedal back down for the LoV after letting off the gas a bit for CSM and CD....We have an army that outshoots Tau, outfights Orks, and has ridiculous durability, cheap strats, and gobs of special rules. The Champion with -1 to wound, AoC, no reroll wounds, 2+/4++, and -1 damage, plus a relic doing 3+d3 mortals on top of 3+d3 damage was just f'n stupid.
Everyone says “they’ll need them” but usually, they just increase the points. They did it with admech after their codex. It doesn’t actually decrease the lethality or durability of their batshit models, so they will still be just as frustrating to play against. Even if you win, it’s not fun when you can’t consistently wound your enemy, and they can; it feels like you are wasting models
Someone should build a statue of Fletcher to use as terrain or something. Dude is a rockstar being able to get that entire box done in a week. Votann look super cool and pretty fun to play too. I'm excited to see what some of the bigger games look like once the rest of their range comes out. They seem to have quite a few crazy good combos
They don't look "good', they look batshit broken. What you see here is Votanns tuned to an absolute possible minimum and they still steamroll. If you minmax the list just a little, they will remove any army from the board not later than turn three, unless the board is packed with terrain to a maximum.
Wow, those magnarail guns have all kinds of neat abilities! That means my tech priest's much heavier magnarail lance will get to do cool stuff too, right? Right?
I love that new army's comes out and i like that its thematic. But the only thing i dont like is the "obvious certain things are way overtuned" Which obviously is needed for it to sell models. But they could approached it differently. But thats just me. the Lore and Theme of the Leagues are amazing and happy to see them. Keep up the good work.
Was thinking the same thing.... love that the Squats were having a revamp but some of those rules and weapons are soo over-the-top. Like that little 3 barreled gun having 9 shots and having their basic troops hitting on 2+ because of one casualty!
I think for the long term health of the faction a broken release is good. It will get people excited for the faction and help build a new community. Then when it gets neef the comp players will sell their shit at discount to the people who jumped on because space dwarves good.
