- Mustang loses control and crash lands UP a hill. Taking a break from all the big wrecks and rollovers with another car fishing adventure. In today's episode, Alex is tasked with recovering a Ford Mustang (funny, I don't see a crowd). The odd part is instead of fishing it back up from down a hill, this one is on top of a hill. Not sure how this even happened, but Mustangs will be Mustangs.
Alex responded in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator, while Anthony was dispatched in a flatbed for the transport. At this point, I feel every job forever now will involve power lines and they're getting more and more extreme. Alex had the guts to fish this one out BETWEEN the lines, making for an impressive lift and swing and all caught with the DJI Mavic 3 drone. It provides a cool angle, but in this case it was useful to map out the path the car will need to come back out.
With some elbow grease and determination, Alex got the Mustang back onto the roadway and onto the flatbed for transport. You'll notice space was very tight, and even with cones and a cop car on each end, cars did not care one bit. Sad, I know, but these are the conditions we have to work in to get the job done. Thankfully there were no injuries from anyone.
Been a while that I posted a car job, what did everyone think of Alex's technique? And don't forget to head to www.pepestowla.com/shop after the video and grab the new 2024 calendar along with some cool Pepe's swag to represent your favorite tow company!

I thought I’d seen every type of Pepe’s fishing trips…. Apparently I was wrong. Phenomenal work Alex. That was wildly impressive.
Josh and the team are really giving us lots of content recently!!
3 videos a week! It is HARD to do with my work load and family life but I make it happen. Helps a ton I have double the content to pick from since Alex knows how to record his jobs in the style I like
Another fine technical recovery well done by Alex. It is amazing to me that he has only been doing this a year. Happy New Year to the PePe's crew
Alex's technique was faultless as was his recording. Only a year--looks like he has been doing these jobs all his life. I heard the owner say "it sounds like it is hurting" as the car crashes the undergrowth. He should have thought about it before he launched it up the hill. I sort of understand the work it takes to produce these videos and I really appreciate them. Best of luck in the new year everyone! R.E. kicking the cones, looked like a soccer player to me.
The "Thread the Needle" award goes too.....Alex! Thanks, Alex, for a job well done in the face of danger. Power line wires, always those power line wires.
This goes to show that at PEPE’s Towing the level of professionalism, pride, an training the Team has.. Class and Dedication
That’s right 🙌
I was really surprised at the number of months of experience. Alex continuously out performs with his talent and training. Josh, Dave and Alex make up a dynamic trio! Happy New Year!
Don’t forget the boss himself, my dad 😂
Yes your dad has the experience and knowledge ! I love his new car ! He deserves it !
Alex is to much a gentleman to say what I would tell him, "You put it up here, now I will get it down". Thank you.
This man knows his geometry for sure! Excellent video and masterfully executed.
Oh ya the pros know math plays an important factor
The owner all worried about scratches hahaha Dude play stupid games win stupid prizes
Would have to he doesn’t know how to handle a muscle car 🚙
Awesome work Alex! For only being on the rotator for year or so you are born to it. 👏
I agree. Some people just have that “it” factor. Either you get it or you don’t. I’ve trained people that just don’t get it and then people like Alex are a natural
Real nice work by Alex, between the overheads. ... To all the Pepe's Towing crews and their families, have a happy and safe New Year
Alex great job, keeping away from the high powered lines and squeezing above the phone lines is a lot tougher than it looks! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
'it sounds like it's hurting"...really?? after achieving the nearly impossible and walking away from the accident, that guy needs to know when he should keep his mouth shut🤣🤣bravo Alex for another flawless job, you sir are a surgeon👏👏
thank you , we make it look easy but its hours of training
This episode was also very pleasant to watch.
Its looks like a good start to 2024.
Beautiful job. Alex is one of those people who has natural talent and a steep learning curve. Not everyone can look at a problem and see the best solution. Those high voltage lines made me nervous though.
Happy New Year Pepe's crew!! My your year be safe and profitable 🎉🎉
Happy new year as well I hope everyone reading this has a great year
Big flipper saves the day. Great Job.
Another well executed recovery, using great skill to negotiate the overhead lines. Thanks for your great series of videos.
thank you we always plan out the recoveries and formulate different ways to achieve our goal thanks for watching
Really feel for you and Dave and all the nasty, weird jobs you both encounter! Thank you for your sharing of the jobs. God Bless 🙏 you all.
Not too often you see a car crashing uphill. That has to one for the record books. Nice recovery job Alex
Amazing that you can move a car between the lines like that. Nice job.
Pepe’s finesse in action 😎
Great job Alex fishing it between all the lines!
Guy was worried about additional damage to his V6 Mustang..The recovery cost more than the car Homeboy!
Lmao right 😂😂😂😂😂
Nice job! Ya'll are amazing at what you do! Great training. I do get nervous when you get near those high power lines as I'm aware you must maintain a 10 ft. Clearance or the power can arc to your boom.
Another awesome performance 🤓🙋♂️👍⚡
I'm a plumber and that's what I do for a living. It blows my mind how people try to tell you how to do your job when they have no clue. It happens to me quite often actually. Just let us do what we know. I'm not comparing our jobs I can just relate a little.
Dude don’t you hate it 😂
Love watching Alex at work, he is very good at that and friendly since I have been watching. WELL DONE
Yes he’s very friendly thanks for watching
Nice job Alex. As you stated, the most important thing is that the driver is okay. Thanks for mentioning the location. I've done a lot of driving in California so I appreciate knowing where you are. I'm always looking for familiar landmarks while I'm guessing lol
Pepe's makes it look so easy. Equipment, training and experience. Ya got it all. Happy New Years and a profitable 2024.
Happy New Year to all my friends at Pepe's!! A very cool video to start the year off right!! This one really shows the versatility of Big Flipper. Sometimes "brute strength" doesn't even matter. It's all about 42 feet of reach. Excellent job Alex!! Take care and be safe!!
Happy new year as well my friend and thanks for being one of my biggest channel supporters !
Once again Alex, you make it look so simple GREAT JOB.
Ever since I started watching these I've wondered what the career arc for a tow operator looked like, and what it took to reach the big leagues of driving the rotator. It's impressive that Alex got there so quickly. Not only is he an excellent operator, but he's a natural content creator too. His narration and descriptions of what he's doing really make for compelling viewing.
Nice fishing trip
Impressive excursion up the hill!
Thanks for the view you make it look easy.
Your videos never cease to amaze. Never a dull moment
Thank you, we’re all proud of what we do and happy you guys enjoy
beautiful car...and great job Alex
Thanks!
Now that was fun and cool very nice work thanks 😊 👍👍
Happy to hear, glad you enjoyed
Being a owner of a towing/ recovery company! I can honestly this may be my first seeing a vehicle going up an embankment lol! My company does a lot of 18-wheeler recoveries, and also work with our local PD'/sheriff deptsout of Northern Indiana/ Chicago area, and I would definitely hire you sir! Great job
😂 honestly Alex how did that driver manage that kind of move hahaha awesome job Alex 😂😂😂😊
This is some fine, professional work. Thank you.
Again Josh your talent and demonstrated skills are Phenomenal. Stay safe can not Waite to see your next adventure!
Thanks but the credit on this job was Alex as I was not present
Another great recovery Alex...love your videos...stay safe
Very good job once again !
Big Flipper is a BEAST!!!!
The recovery will cost more than the car
Talk about precision, Alex your it. Had me on the edge of my seat. Great video.
Thank you , thanks for watching
Wouldn't miss a Pepe's..............
Agreed, you just don’t see finesse on a job like this anywhere else
Another great recovery
Awesome job Alex you're the master of Towing happy New Year brother
Round of beer for Alex 🍻
That Pony needed a vet, had a hard life. It gets to live another day with Alex's help. That WAS a recovery, made dicey with the powerlines. Well done Alex and Pepe's Towing.
Great Job.
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota. Let's go fishing..
Pepe's needs to make a rotator simulator game. I would play the hell out of that!
You make it look so easy , but it just reflects your experience. Happy New Year to all at Pepe’s Towing . Love seeing the Beautiful blue skies of California, from the frozen tundra of Missouri .Lol
Very skilled operator!
thank you and happy new year
You'll are amazing at what you do! Happy New Year to the PePe's crew
Appreciate it boss happy new year 🎊
Wow, Alex. That is really coloring between the lines. Like a real life game of operation but it would be more than a buzzer if you touched the edge.
Yeah, Big Flipper can do anything, with you at the controls.
thank you but it takes lost of training and countless hours behind the controls
Haha good analogy with Operation!
Alex you pulled that off with out a hitch bro! The Confidence in your self is awesome bro! I was amazed dude. It's just a car you gotta get I guess. Pretty cool.
Thanks, this def was a very hard and technical one due to the wires and the hill
Happy New Year from Canada! 🇨🇦 Good job Alex and great editing Josh. Thanks for keeping this old lady entertained through 2023.
Thank you! Filming is one thing but man this editing kicks my butt, glad you like it and happy new year!
Uplifting! Happy new year guys!
NICE JOB ALEX. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE PEPE'S CREW. BE SAFE OUT THERE. LOVE THE VIDEOS.
Just amazing
Awesome job Alex👍!!!
Damn, had no idea you were so "new" to the drivers seat. It's obvious you put many hours into training and such for them to hand you the keys to Big Flipper. If I ever get into recovery I'ma need whatever training y'all do over there. Stay safe out there Pepes crew. Happy New Year.
Thank you , happy new year stay safe
Another sweet recovery. Nice drone flying too.
thank you hard to do both at the same time
That has to be one. Hell of a bill.
Nice fishing between the wires 👍🇺🇸
Alex of course they're going to call in the big guns if they want it done and done right . Mustangs like to fly but on roads ! I guess it was too much speed or to much car for the driver ! Great video Alex .
Happy New Year Looking forward to all the upcoming videos. Stay safe
This was a great recovery! Happy New Year guys.....
Great job of threading the needle there, Alex. Stay safe!
thank you and happy new year

happy new year thanks for watching
That was such an intricate job Alex, amazing work! Happy New Year bro 👊
thank you , thanks for watching
Excellent video! I was getting concerned that you were getting too close to the high tension wires. Those things are really hot!!! Glad everything went well. What kind of drone are you running? Is it simple to fly or does it take some time to get used to it? Stay safe! Happy New Year!
I use a DJI Mavic 3 cine , takes some time to get confortable with but just like anything we do in life we get better with practice , thanks for watching
Mustang in it's natural habitat
Some car people only car about the scratches after the wreck, not while they were doing mock chicken on back roads.
Outstanding! Great Patients
Awesome job Happy New Year
Nice drone work.
Happy New Year , great job as always
That was cool Alex. Nice job! Happy New Year!
ITS THAT ALEX? OMG! AMAZING! JOSH, YA ADOPTA A ALEX JAJAJA
There must have been a crowd up there watching him...😂
😂😂
Hey Josh/ Alex & Anthony !!! ""HAPPY NEW YEAR "" & Thanks for the video !! 🙃😉🤠😎 👍👍👍👍👍
as always great job...Happy New Year...
Happy New Year to you and the crew
Nice job threading through those wires. That was hairy.😮
Crazy! Owning and driving a fast and furious does not mean you have skill or talent to operate one. 😅
Very true, at least we’re here to help lol
Alex, do you learn from the best there when you’re very good at your job keep up the good work enjoy your videos and a happy new year
yes I'm getting a crash course from josh ,Dave and Joe
I laughed, how can somebody do this with their car?
Absolute stupidity extremes I guess.
Anyway, "splitting the sparks" episode! THAT was stellar sirs!!!!!
Good job Pepe's Feliz año nuevo.
