I'm so lucky to have had Dan as teacher during High School! We used to watch some of his performances during our choir classes. He was awesome and I enjoyed him as our Varsity Choir teacher!
Can we all just admire Dan's walking bass? If only I could listen to it on loop. Butter outta cream, Coffee song, Nowhere to go but up, all a great walking bass at some point.
This group is seriously excellent. No wobbling on pitches, wonderful presentation and song selections- a pleasure to the ears. Your bright personalities shine through. Thank you After hours!
I didn’t know Drew could ring from the top of the chord like that. This quartet surprises me with every single performance they do, and they’re my personal favorite quartet of the 2010s decade
Mu internet went out this morning and I busted out my old after hours CD I picked up when they came to my barbershop camp. They're absolutely amazing and they make me wish I still sang
Okay so I know this is old news. But I just recently got into the Barber shop community and I’ve noticed that there are some ill feelings towards Main Street. Why is that?
Singing barbershop myself has given me a new appreciation for how insanely good these people are

Tim Beutel is my current Choir Teacher! He is incredible!

3:01 Only just noticed Dan's reaction to that PERFECT chord at the end of that slide lmao
I knew I recognized the title but when it hit me what song this is I got so happy :D

I am not normally a, "wow listen to that last chord!" guy because there are usually a lot more chords than that. But man, listen to that last chord.
Love the double "barbershop woo" at the release of the tag 😂😂

If you haven’t checked out Ringmasters or Instant Classic you should check them out too🙃
Love Clay Hine's reaction to the modulation(?) @ 57-58 seconds...…..don't think even HE was expecting that!!!:o)
After Hours is my favorite of all time.. skill, accuracy, Blend, stage presence!
The tenor Tim Beutel is actually my Choir Teacher! He is insanely good and I'm incredibly lucky to learn from the best!
even the two "whoo's" are in unison after the end lol
みんな化け物級に上手いんだけど中でもバリトンが心地良すぎる。Love you Bryan!

Holy cow, that last chord is absolutely, unbelievable!
This grandma’s got goosebumps! The best!
Anyone else hearing the A6 (double-high tonic) overtone at the end? I'm just blown away, love this audio quality!
I don't usually really hear all the overtones people talk about - I sure as HECK heard this one.
Man they're so in tune, it sounds great
Wow!
Dan mentored us during Acappellooza one year. Incredible bass, and an honor to work with him.
Nice to see this song get exposure!
3:05 yum
Delightful. Look forward to their lock and ring for decades to come hopefully.
Dat last chord though...
Favorite quartet by a mile!
Shew, I love these guys so much. Keep singing real Barbershop. Some of the best to do it!
That last note by tenor you’d think too high to get an overtone but they did
The high 5th is actually sung by the lead
Pretty sure, it’s the Bari (Bryan) singing the highest part there, he normally does.
@@JordanWHuff Bryan is on the 1
Can we appreciate the fact that the "whoo's" at 3:45 is in sync
and. omg, that's live...
So good! :D They make it look it so easy, it's not fair.
Love this! Great suits!
That was really great.
I sure as hell can't wait for covid to take its sorry arse off this planet so the power of music can return to stages. these guys are amazing
Literally can't tell which of the top three voices are which on that tag... proud illinoisan right here
@@Ken-fx8rb that was DREW on the 5th?! Bruh these guys are legends, thanks for that bruv
Mary Poppins will be proud
Disney needs to hire them if kit already
Is there anything Bryan can’t do? Full voicing A5s, hitting Eb2s comfortably, smashing high falsetto notes... what are his vocal folds made of?
Whoa, an A5 full voice?? Where is that? I gotta hear that!
@@ParkerRognrud Last chord ! He reaches also a B5 in their Take On Me cover.
ok my bad, it's an A4 and a B4 ^^'
Olivier Mahieu Okay yeah, I wasn’t sure. I know his range is amazing but it’s not THAT wide. Lol
Parker Rognrud oops, A4 sorry
Pog
Okay so I know this is old news. But I just recently got into the Barber shop community and I’ve noticed that there are some ill feelings towards Main Street. Why is that?
This is news to me.
It's probably just taking the mick, cause why not?
There are usually very few ill feelings between anyone in barbershop.
Main Street is a terrific Quartet.. their performance is stellar... don’t know or care about ill feelings....
