The cards are very exciting. I haven’t received one yet. Hopefully soon. I can’t wait to collect them. I love love love confetti. I worry with all the complaining others do regarding confetti that they will try to get rid of it. I will NOT buy any kits if they do that. Confetti is so rewarding and challenging. I understood a lot of it can be overwhelming to some. Just be aware of it. The end result is so beautiful and worth every drill placed. Blocking is very boring to me. No challenge at all. I don’t rush to get a canvas done. I enjoy the process. Thank you for sharing. The finished kit is so beautiful!
do you buy from Jaded Gem Shop at all. You want confetti, that's the place to go. She is also changing some over to hand-rendering though (color blocking) as that seems to be what everyone wants. I am doing a DAC for a friend, and am bored to death. Hoping to finish it soon.
So interesting how everyone’s tastes are! Mine are even different from what I thought they were before. Turns out I like hand charted but more confetti hand charting. I do like the look of computer charting on many pieces though! I do have a few from the and am working on a Kat Fedora from her. It’s so good! It’s confetti for sure and computer rendered but it does seem like she does some touch ups!
I love confetti too! But like the hand charted kind. I do appreciate some breaks of color blocking to change things up a bit. Mostly I like just change. I want the next kit I do to be very different from the previous ones I finished
Oh we absolutely love it here! Dreamer designs is good! I really enjoyed the kit I did but my biggest qualms were the drill trash and the gapping, so I’m really happy that that is what they have focused on improving. The trading cards are so fun and interesting
Was your “Unusual Friends” canvas hand rendered? I wish they would show the rendering on their website. It’s a cute canvas. Did you get square or round? I’ve never bought from this company before. Thanks. ❤
It is not hand rendered. But some on their site are and they will be doing more and more hand rendering as they go along. Here is the link to the unboxing of it. I think the card thing stinks! This is the first I have heard of an explanation. I have one of them. It only seems to be for people that already have enough money to buy at least 10 paintings (and then if you have the right combination). I thought that there was a scratch code, but after looking at the website, I guess that's only for verification? This isn't going to bring in people who are new and would love a little game where they could get a decent amount off. I buy from different companies, but even then, because my time is limited for painting, I don't every buy just to buy them--the money just isn't there. Give me a cute cover minder (instant winning right away) for my refrigerator, and I was happy.
I certainly respect your opinion on it. I would say though to look at the fact how you can get cover minders very budget from all sorts of other stores, and get ones you particularly like. Also DAC ones would often lose the magnets in the back and broke easily they decided to do away with them for that reason. But they will also have them eventually available on their site and for better quality. Alternatively, this is something that leads to a long term goal you can set after you eventually get enough kits and Treasure Quest Cards to get something as amazing as having your pick of a custom kit to be rendered and made by Diamond Art Club for free. It’s kits you are buying anyway. I doubt people will buy whatever kits just to get the cards. It’s the long term satisfaction of having a very awesome free and personalized kit, over having the instant gratification of easily broken or breakable trinkets. I find it worth it in the long run for sure. But to each their own!

I am doing sugar skull girl for drills and chills. I’m hoping my mystical dream diamond canvas arrives this week so I can join their event.

My 14 year old is an excellent artist. So I would have her create art for me to do as a diamond painting.
