My father went back to college at 72 yrs old and he was able to finish his study at 76 yrs old.. he was featured in national news when he graduated as a good example and inspiration to everyone that.. age doesn’t matter and it’s never too late if you have a dream to finish your study then go for it!😍

Congratulations Ms Jodi. Thank you ABS-CBN news for airing this news. For those who made comments that you also defended your thesis but how come you were not in the news, why if they will air our defense (in my case defenses-4 times for undergrad, thesis for two masters degree and a PhD dissertation), will people learn from us and be inspired by what we have done. Ms Jodi's accomplishment is truly inspiring and worth emulating by others. She did not graduate in high school because at 15 years of age she stopped because of work. Her greatness is she did not give up on it. She went back at the age 28 and graduated in high school at age 28 despite her very hectic schedule shooting 100 days to heaven, mundo man ay magunaw, be careful with my heart, and many others (and plus the many personal and marital problems she was hurdling and experiencing at that time). She then enrolled in college at de la salle univ but have to stop because of everyday shooting of be careful with my heart. Again, her commitment to her education pushed her to enroll again in 2016 and 2017 now taking BS Psych and now her dedication paid off. She is already graduating. How many of us can succeed with all of this hardships and hindrances? How many of us can fly victorious after all of these trials? Yes, Ms Jodi's success in her studies must be in the news because others need to learn from her and be inspired by her. In particular the young people nowadays that trivialized learning and education. God bless Ms Jodi and all those that are inspired by your life.

Hats off to you Ms. Jodi Sta. Maria! Your commitment to higher education did not diminish in spite of your success in showbiz. I can't imagine being in your shoes to come back and finish your 4th-year high school at the age of 28. Back in my day as a working student I was able to earn my bachelors degree at 25 when regular students normally finish college around 20-21 years old.

Single mom with a vision. I always want to be a doctor and took pre-med in FEU many yrs ago ,but due to big family and lack of financial, i ended in nursing .No regrets ,but still i feel if we only are rich ,maybe im a doçtor now . Soon i will retire my nursing career in few yrs.

Wonderful- my daughter got derailed in college- she was accepted through scholarship at the University of British Columbia, I trusted that she will do well as she did in HS- with honors and awards, thus not paid attention. I’m a single mom a widow with a full time job making sure that I make enough to run my household which includes a full time nanny. After 3 years shes struggling and hardly keeping up, fell in love with a guy that didn’t work out. She finally decided not to waste my money after 3 years and decided to look for a job. She’s smart after few months she became a manager then a pharmacy assistant- gone back to school to become a paralegal and is now working for the government’s Supreme Court. She’s not planning to stop there - after years of derailment she will go back and finish what she started and hopefully get her law degree.. she’s finally on the right track at the age of 28
