- I was trying to not make this rounds palette collection and declutter a full length movie but as you can see I totally failed haha. But yeah, here are all my palettes (I did miss that I had my Melt stacks, my Jaclyn x Morphe palette & Emily Noel x MUR palette in another place but ended up saving them all) and how I feel about every single one of them.

In responce to hearing you say you want to get into neutrals could you maybe do a "neutralizing colour" video/series where you pick a colour and then make a neutral look that incorporates that pop of colour. Xxxx
I only own three natural palette. Tge rest is colour. She is why. Urban decay naked honey palette. Milani soft and sultry and colourpop smoke show.
@@littlereddress82 that's a good mix to be fair. I think the only neutral pallet I own is the 1st Juvias place one 🤔 but I have pops of neutral elsewhere in my (too) many colourful pallets. I would like something smokey tho. Xxx

For the palettes you're keeping for sentimental reasons rather than because you want to use them - you could do the Marie Kondo thing, and find a nice display spot for them away from the palettes you actually use?
Even if it's just a shelf on a bookshelf or something, just somewhere where you can look at them and go 'My friend sent me this! I love my friend!' rather than having it sit amongst your other makeup and make you feel guilty for not using it. So that the inspire happy, 'my friend is great' feelings rather than guilty 'I should use this but I don't' feelings.
Oh I have several display places in my beautyroom where I showcase makeup :)

I think eyeshadow palettes are the hardest to declutter because most of them look so cute and have beautiful colors

hey angie! it’s quite possible you’ve made a video like this, but i would love a video where you transform “typical/basic” neutral looks into colorful looks. for example, swapping out a shade in a “neutral with a pop of blue” eyeshadow look to make a more adventurous and fun look. i love seeing colorful eye looks on others and want to do them on myself, but i can’t seem to get away from my usual warm tone neutral shadows. i hope that makes some sense lol. i appreciate you and your channel so much! ❤️

My thoughts regarding the KVD palettes: You have such a strong emotional reaction when you pick up the palettes. My thought is; get rid of it for that reason alone. This is not bringing you joy at all. Quite the opposite. Not even talking about taking a stance, or what is right, what is wrong. This particular object is bringing you down

I remembered buying the deep see luster because I saw it on the going a wishlist or not. I love the color story, I though it is a perfect version for a mermaid palette. I never though that the quality would be like this, I saw a few videos but my god when I got it, I was blown away. And I was like angie, you have to get it! Really truly amazing,it is also one of my favorites. I want to use it everyday! ❤

Can you make a palette bingo with the brew palette? Since it's so neutral it might be a challenge for you, or at least take you out of your comfort zone. I would like to see a review of the pastel tribe. Usually I'm not into pastels, but that caught my eye and I would like your opinion :)

Instead of branding a video a "throwback" so less people watch it, try branding it a "no brand tutorial" where people take the general colors and try to find the closest matches in their collection to recreate the look following your direction for placement and technique. See if that might get more views than "throwback" videos. I hope that helps!!
I am so sad Kaleidos Deep Sea Luster is discontinued!! I saw it a while back on someone else's channel and put it on my wishlist not knowing it was discontinued. You know since you are on their P.R. list you should totally lobby for the people for them to bring it back!! Now that people are starting to really recognize them it would totally fly off the shelves fo sho!! You have your mission Angie should you choose to accept. (Please choose to accept it....?)

You did really well with decluttering and giving away so many palettes Ange! I don't know how you are going to get rid of even more before you move. I could never. I declutter and share my makeup with friends all the time but I could never get rid of huge amounts of it. So, Go You! One observation, the Pastel Goth palette looks a lot like your Creepy Cute palette, which I think looks much nicer. (If that might help you let it go) ;-)

Obviously I don't have that many palettes but I try and declutter them every 3-4 months 'cause when I reach about 40 I kind of get sick of them... So I just sale the ones that are still good, give away the used ones and throw away the oldest ones. I really enjoy this video : you're so brave to throw some of those away 'cause some are really reeaally beautiful

I would love to see your opinion on the Ace Beaute Oceanic palette. It is a little older at this point but I've heard that the quality has really improved since the Paradise collection. Not to mention the colour story is gorgeous!

I haven’t watched one of these in a while. I couldn’t help but feel so proud of you! You now have about 20 more than I do ... Midas really is a great brand and they just had a killer one year anniversary sale. I officially have all of their palettes (except their pressed glitter quad)! I feel about eyeshadow now the way I used to about books ... which says a lot considering how I collected them. Makeup is the only thing that makes me happy...
So many beautiful palettes and brands I didn’t know existed. (Of course). I’ve picked up a lot of very useful information about eyeshadow palettes from this video and have a better idea of quality from this declutter episode. if anyone's interested, I've found the mauve matte shade in the pretty much palette to be an exact dupe for buon fresco from abh and the berry matte shade is a really good dupe for love letter!

goldensunflower I think she did one, as I bought it (and live it) on her recommendation, however there are lots of good tutorials on TH-cam. I find it dupes a lot of interesting palettes, don’t you think? It’s crazy versatile, one of my favorite palettes.
I discovered Makeup Addiction palettes thanks to You. Too bad You don't use them anymore, they're really really great. I love them. I regret that I did not buy these pallets for supply when the brands were sold out. But... there are so many palettes all over the world that You can get dizzy ;-D Now I order Kaleidos ...again: thanks to You! Thank You! :-D

Btw, Juvias Place is having 50% sale!!! I was finally able to get my hands on some pallets that I wanted for the longest time! Can't wait till they get here!!!
I just decluttered a few things yesterday and went through all my singles and made a medium sized magnetic palette of just my favorites (mostly shimmers, mostly Sydney Grace, but with MUG, Nomad cosmetics, Devinah and Colourpop...maybe others too) and I put that in my "every day basket" to mix with other palettes and had sooooo much fun swatching singles. My daughter was like whoaaaaa look at your pretty arm lol. It's fun to enjoy stuff again. I may rotate singles every month to choose more favorites.

I got that Kaleidos Deep Sea Lustre palette right before it was discontinued. The one that got away for me were the original brushes! 😩 It’s okay though. Oh! And remember Strobe Cosmetics is now Shroud Cosmetics! I feel like there are still some people who don’t know tbh 🤔

I'm the sole weirdo in the world who keeps all of the boxes, slip covers, plastic inserts, etc to her eyeshadow palettes. I store them in their boxes and clean the palettes regularly lol.
I keep it all too. I think it was because I knew I would be moving so wanted to be sure I could protect them better ... plus it’s helpful if I decide to sell on PoshMark.
I glue the plastic inserts on the mirrors. My eyes need a mirror that enlarges everything so I don't need the mirrors in the palettes. Added benefit is that if i were to drop a palette and the mirror would break, the glass doesn't end up in my shadows.
I keep mine clean and keep the plastic, too, better for traveling and a little extra protection, or so I tell myself 🤭

You have so many amazing palletes 😭 There’s is so many interesting ones, I only have 3 pallettes and still had to buy them months apart but ah this makes me want to graduate faster to buy more lol
They expire so quickly though, I think getting palettes minimum few months apart is ideal because you really get the time to enjoy them before you get another one. If you're not reviewing make up there is no point of having all this much and it would be a great waste.
I’m not sure what kind of colors you’re into, but I have a few leftover palettes that are new, but not in their packaging anymore. One came in a set, but it’s not my color scheme, one is a brand I appeared to be allergic to, one is too dark for me. If you like you can have them. They’re just sitting here and nobody I know is into makeup.
