I'm the original videographer and one person that reached out to me in the comments on my original upload said the person in the costume was fine. A little shaken up but otherwise no injuries that were reported.

Once when I was 10 I was helping my Aunt take kids to Sesame Street on Ice and Cookie Monster had a wardrobe malfunction at the opening number. His eye was hanging on at first but fell off in front of the little kids. Kids don't miss anything. They were screaming and pointing. On Cookie's second time around on the ice he kicked the eye right into the gutter. (More screams) Kinda broke the illusion for the kids. They must have sewed another eye on because the show went on.
