It was funny, emotional, heartfelt, raw, and everything in between. I’m happy he was able to get back on stage after all he’s been through over the past year and a half. A must watch. 😢😂❤
I had the opportunity to watch the special and it was so different. I almost didn’t know how to react. I was laughing then I was like “oh no, is he crying for real!!” Then I get emotional. Then the next thing I know he cracking jokes again. He truly came from the most relatable experience I have ever seen someone in his stature. I commend and thank him for that. He didn’t have to share cuz it’s truly none of our business, but the fact that he didn’t speaks volumes to his humanity. Love you Jamie. I’ve always been a fan.
I am so happy that this was not Jamie Foxx's time to transition. Jamie said to God, I have daughters and GOD said to him, I have ONE BEGOTTEN SON who gave his life for you......that is when my tears became never ending. Give HONOR and PRAISE to our Lord and Savior JESUS!
Jamie Foxx special was good. I laughed and cried for him. I was thinking about Ali Siddiq. He is an awesome comedian who was overlooked. However, both of their life experiences and pain are different. They both have a way of capturing the audience attention. They let you feel their pain and make it relatable. They both can bring you back to laughter. My opinion is based on comedy itself. We know that Jamie is a singer, performer, and actor as well. Ali Siddiq storytelling comedy captures you. Believe it or not, he has some acting skills on the comedy stage.
I loved it , cried & enjoyed very much . I know he is a comedian , but the language was too much . He even asked God to save him , change him ,,, Lord remove the foul tongue There is life & death in the power of the tongue 😊
Something was not right about this I swear he be giving to many subliminal messages and you could tell he did think Diddy had something to do with his illness but I am glad he make a full recovery I always thought fox one of the funniest dudes a live but remember folks what kat williams said shit making sense now 😢
I watched a bit of it last night, it sounded as if he were giving a testimony of his experience, I don’t necessarily agree with the venue for it, but it was for him. Personally I believe when this “mystery illness” happened they made it a mystery when it didn’t have to be causing unnecessary speculation.
It is a shame that Jamie went through that near death experience and came out the same. Did no one not realize he blasphemed God’s name during his show? Are we so numb to the things of this world that we laugh at anything? I like the brutha but this is crazy! Will a real preacher pastor from somewhere grab this man and speak some truth to him before he finds himself in a tunnel from whence he cannot return!
Respectfully, You don’t know how many people that were headed to that tunnel that they cannot return from, had a revelation because of this special and are now seeking this Jesus that Jamie kept talking about. You don’t know how many people who are believers and walked away from God, repented and rededicated their relationship with God because of the special. This is why a lot of people stop going to church because of this judgmental spirit right here. If you have an issue with his delivery, then pray to the Deliverer who indeed DELIVERS to bring Jamie all the way in but don’t bash him. God makes everything beautiful IN HIS TIME not yours mam. By the time this gets seen even years from now , he will have had millions of people of giving glory to God, saying “ God is good all the time, and all the time God is good “ How many people have you gotten to say that?
He already said he didn't see a light in that tunnel... Everyone isn't making it to heaven nor does everyone wish to make it. Let him "cook" as they say, he aight
I was at the taping in ATL, it is a little fake. He did take after take crying again in each take so it’s not as emotional for me when I watch it bc I know there’s some acting thrown in but hey the man has to make his money.
@@outsidethebox8406wow really?! I did notice the forced crying myself. It was so cringy. I watched through because I like him generally but this wasn’t all that tbh.
I watched and it was emotional but then it became vulgar and the use of God’s name in vain but yet he talks about God saving him. I love you Jamie but I will stick to your movies and sitcom re-runs! I didn’t continue to watch.
I agree that there were some vulgar moments during the special that didn't sit well with me. Like calling Jesus the N-word. However, I'm going to give Jamie some grace and trust that as he walks closer with God, God will completely transform him. If we're all honest, it didn't happen for us over night.
Good for you, for standing on business. People will come here to comment against this, but when they CANT, they will CALL, and they better pray harder HE will listen! I play with a lot of things, my Father and Christ isn't two of them!
We are all entitled to our opinions, but he's going through a process, and grace should be extended. I thought about it too, but I wanted to hear his story from him. The heart of it is that he encountered God, and the journey continues. Babies can't drive cars, bathe themselves, or cook a meal. So, let's continue to prayerfully watch over him that God will do his perfect work.
I haven’t watched it yet but understand what you mean. I went to a Christian play and there was a lot of cursing in it. Although it made me cringe a bit, it was very real. God made us in his image but he didn’t make us perfect. And when real life stories and testimonies are shared, it changes people and brings even more people to God!
I felt the same on some of the vulgarity. What I got is that it was a deeply spiritual experience for Him if not an encounter. I pray hereon he will walk closer with God. By his own admission he had wandered far from Him.
God is holy and will not be marked…but when you are foolish to the truth of GOD …GOD will bring you to the truth to keep you from blaspheming foolishly…That’s the grace of GOD…Apostle Paul did it..but God turn it for his own glory…
No this wasn't a comedy show.. This was a TESTIMONY WITH SOME FUNNY MOMENTS THROWN IN! I LOVED IT!

It was funny, emotional, heartfelt, raw, and everything in between. I’m happy he was able to get back on stage after all he’s been through over the past year and a half. A must watch. 😢😂❤

That special had me stretched out 😭😭😭😭 Jamie is in the tradition of Richard Pryor after he blow himself up lol. Laugh to keep from crying.

I loved it , cried & enjoyed very much . I know he is a comedian , but the language was too much . He even asked God to save him , change him ,,, Lord remove the foul tongue There is life & death in the power of the tongue 😊
People fall for anything
Something was not right about this I swear he be giving to many subliminal messages and you could tell he did think Diddy had something to do with his illness but I am glad he make a full recovery I always thought fox one of the funniest dudes a live but remember folks what kat williams said shit making sense now 😢
In the words of Men on Films.....Hated it!!

Not Good
Can't laugh at what God shows us. It's real.
It is a shame that Jamie went through that near death experience and came out the same. Did no one not realize he blasphemed God’s name during his show? You can't judge. You have no idea. What his relationship with God is. You need to concentrate on yourself
Respectfully,

The whole thing was ridiculous because he got paid to tell what happened to him. Which anyone with brain should have known he had a stroke for free
more like he got paid for having a stroke
