"The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it for the first time with a sense of hope, because if a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too." - Sarah Connor
The fact that John looks up to The Terminator as a father figure... kinda makes me relate to him as a kid. My parents are divorced, and my dad always think he is right about everything. But clearly he isn't. The only person i did look up to was my high school principal who taught me knowing what is right and wrong. Terminator 2 is not only my favorite childhood movie. But it helps me get me through the difficult times I have in my early days.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I'm glad to hear that you've dealt with the problems of the past. I hope that things will only get better and better from here on out.
In the novelization of the film, when he mentioned the last chip and what has to be done, he developed free will. His voice changed from unemotional to kind and compassionate. His first emotion was fear. He did not know if there was anything else after that sacrifice.
The low angle shot view from the T800 looking up to John is the same shot that you can see in Titanic after Rose jumped in the life boat looking at Jack.
@@raybernal6829 Yeah you do. Even I enjoy Salvation. Dark Fate? Nah. I do not like the idea of killing off the most crucial character in the franchise. It makes everything Sarah, Reese have fought for in safeguarding John is all for nothing. Terminator Zero Netflix anime and Terminator: Resistance however is a breath of fresh air. It focuses on other characters that doesn’t centered around the Connors. And they recapture the horror aspects of the Terminator with different infiltration modes that isn’t Arnold.
@@raybernal6829 which is true. Everyone has different tastes. But when it comes to the franchise like the Terminator, you need a closure which T2 I would consider a conclusion. I would like to see more of the future war between humans and machines, and the visual language of a warning of what will happen if we allowed artificial intelligence (like Skynet) to control of everything.
Unfortunately all successful IPs be it movies or games can't escape the fate of sequels that overstay their welcome and remakes, as long as there's money to be made. The best thing to do is just approach it like the comic book stories, and convince yourself that the other "sequels" are spin-offs that take place in parallel/alternate/extended universe.
They say save the best for last and whoever put this together did. That chick in the last reaction clip did what I thought all of them would do (a few did), the rest seemed like they were emotionless robots.
Most of the reactors don't understand that the CPU in the Terminator is flawed just like Skynet's, even though you re-programed him. "they go bad sometimes" was the Quote of the rebel humans...
People never catch the arm from the first Terminator is a right arm, so even if this one lives, the arm would be useless as a replacement since he lost his left. And the mangled ledt arm from this one is of minimal use - they alresdy have the somewhat compressed body of the first one.
At least I do after rewatching The Terminator. Sometimes I wondered Miles Dyson is more or less of the Terminator version of Robert J. Oppenheimer. There is a deleted scene where Miles has his doubts about creating Skynet.
Quand j ai vus ce film au cinema,j en avais les larmes aux yeux. Pas parce que le terminator fond mais parce que Arnold est mon idole depuis toujours et c est lui que je voyais mourir. Je vais braillé comme un bebe quand il mourera😢😢
Baby by what time do they need to be out and on the way to school? And baby by what time should I have her at the bus stop? Sorry to ask but I have not had them yet when school is Delayed. So I want to make sure that way. They don't miss school. And let me know when you get there safe.I love you
"I need a vacation" everybody laughs. Thumbs up, everybody cries. 🤔

"They never got to play catch" has to be the best reaction to this.
It is testament to talent of James Cameron as a filmmaker that he can even make grown man cry over the death of a robot.

I guess you could say CSM-101 has become more independent after experiencing human emotions through John and after completing his mission.
I cry when I was little watching this scene 😢best terminator movie ever
This film is a Legend when the Terminator says I know now why you cry.....
It sucks that it doesn't actually end here. The production did a good job on this ending.
Nah, it ends here.
No one forced anyone to continue watching... Enjoy what you want let others enjoy what they want 😎
@raybernal6829 yeah, my comment does not to push anyone in any direction.
@@lbjcb5 ok 🙄
I like the comment at the end "They just don't make movies like this anymore" I know what you mean guy

This is how the Terminator franchise should’ve end.
No one forced you to watch the rest ... I enjoyed them but that's me... 😎

By the way, if terminator dies and Skynet never gets built, wouldn't John gets erased from existence?
I wonder if that biker still wants his clothes and boots back.
He's a robot 😂😭
Yes but he was the closest thing to a father John ever had
👍😢🤖🦾😢
They should have stopped making Terminator movies after this. It was a perfect ending. Stupid Hollywood.
