Such an insincere apology- the only thing they are sorry about is being exposed as horribly disrespectful excuses for human beings. They would never have apologised had social media not gone viral on this - it was a damage limitation exercise and an insincere one at that! Trying to force and bully the MMDA by abusing their so called “elite” privileged status should be an additional reason to punish them as its tantamount to manipulating and obstruction of a public official. They should have been arrested on the spot for wilfully disregarding the instructions of a public official. The law is the law and is to be applied without fear or favour and if some viral arrests were made maybe people would take note.
The claim of pregnancy ( if true) then I feel sorry for the child growing up with these two terrible role models. I’m sure we will find out in the next few days if that is true. However, if there is fear of miscarriage, as sad as that would be, the blame is firmly upon the offender driver who refused to abide by the law instead of just accepting she was in the wrong. As someone else commented, if the laws of the nation were strictly enforced and followed things would run more efficiently and favourably for everyone. The President doesn’t need to pass more laws, the officials just need to enforce the ones they have more often and firmer.
Many of these issues start because Barangay captains are not doing the job they receive a salary for - I wish the president would bring in a performance management system that rewards good management and allows the firing of those who do not enforce the rules. I also thing rotating captains on 3 month secondment in different locations to limit the opportunity for graft and building “friendships” would be a good idea. It would save a lot of time and tax payer money and free up the MMDA to do other community services.

Yung iba kasi ginagamit ang tungkulin sa pag aabuso kagaya noon na inisisi kay Apo lakay lalong lano na yung may perang pangbayad sa abugado. Sana ang systema ay parang public attorney na kung alam na niya na guilty ang may akusado hindi na tinutulungan. Again sasabihin natin nasaan na ang batas. Dictator na tuloy ang tawag sa iyo. Kaya minsan ano ba talaga ang kailangan. Sabihin natin may Supreme Court pero nandun parin ang padrino. As an ordinary citizen nung akoy nag jury nakita ko talaga how lawyers defend their client. Tagisan ng talino sa pagpresenta sa kanilang cliente. Sa umpisa pa lang yung dalawang abogado ay magmeeting na. They called it prelimary wherein they will share prospective about the case. After that when their is already a verdict by the jurors yun na naman ang dalawang lawyers na nagtagisan ng talino at icongratulate who the winner is. This is in US but ako parang may duda pa rin kasi ang kinukuhang juror ay yung walang alam sa kaso. Kaya sabi ko rin na not fair enough in judging. Paano naman kung magagaling lahat eh di wala ng nananalo. Who is responsible now the judge or Supreme Court na. Sino ba yung mga nasa Supreme Court? Yung mga magagaling ba na Abogado? Maybe and how much their earnings compare sa mga private firm? Of course yung mga matatalino magtatag sila ng sariling law office. Sino ang makikinabang of course yung mga may pera. Do you think they will offer themselves to be a public defender? What the problem is really$ whether we like it or not. Okay going back to rhe Supreme Court, alam natin na sila ay matatalino at kilalana, pero kung wala na sa pwesto kahit gaano ka man ka talino iipitin karin talaga kasi you don't have that power already. Marami na akong hinahangan na magagaling. Isa na dito yung abogado ng mga Marcos and of course si Apo lakay, si Mirriam, Tolentino, Virata at marami pang iba. Sila kasi ang naabutan ko at kilala noon at ngayon. Higit sa lahat ang Panginoon mismo.

As a fellow motorist, i undertand kung bakit nag freak out si driver - dahil hassle ng towing, the expensive towing fee, the damage to the car, the hassle of retrieval. Kung P200 lang pala ang penalty for illegal parking and it was well explained, nag pa ticket na lang sana si motorist.
I first saw this incident on "gadget addict" vlog and I was so disappointed the comments were off and their faces blocked. This incident showed a typical Pilipino mindset towards law and order. This incident showed a snap shot of Pilipino mentality and present culture wherein, the rich and those in position of authority thinks they are above the law. If you don't believe me, review the video of most MMDA's operations and you'll see more people like this lady who thinks they are above the law. The number 1 one problem in the phil. is NOT drugs; it's people's disregard of the law like the lady in the video who felt entitled. It is not fair to those jailed petty thieves and dead drug addicts if this lady gets away with an apology which she read from a written script. I'd like to recommend that as punishment, the lady and the man should perform community service as MMDA enforcers and let them experience how it is to be at the receiving end of their tirade. As a Fiscal she'll be able to relieve Bong of the tasks of explaining the law to those difficult people like her.

This is one example of a pilipino attitude that prrd was talking about and wants to change. Because of their status, and money they think they are above the law. Prrd talking about the police scared of the common people, that has been the problem for over 30 years. Police became scared to a peoples who got money and power to reverse anything. See the so called lady is trying to leave, hit the motor bike of the enforcer. After that trying some bullshit for her way out. Here in U. S. U hit that bike you'll be on the ground instantly. Pregnant or not, that's what her husband said another bullshit. Did not see in the video where her husband came from. But he said the are going to hospital, her wife which is pregnant is bleeding. And more, he treats the officers, another bullshit. In here U. S . They not going anywhere but in precinct and maybe jail.
