My dude. Our first year in college, my dorm threw a party and he was the DJ I booked. I think that was his first gig in Atlanta....I remember visiting his dorm room and seeing nothing but crates of vinyl......the rest is history. He is one of the best at his craft, and I am proud.
what this man has done to promote and represent House Music, specifically in Atlanta, Detroit, and New York. i am proud to call him my mentor and my friend.
Brotha , my friend it's an absolute beautiful thang to see YOU reaching in tha CRATES again !!!!!!! absolute fantastic SIGHT to see. Oh how I appreciate YOU....Twigg
Wow. I remember just getting into dj'ing, being 13-14 years old and seeing him working at Satellite Records when I used to go to Atlanta during the summer; TWENTY YEARS AGO!!!
Nah Kai Alce is globally respected, he’s definitely one of the most important gatekeepers in the Global House scene today. He’s right at the top of his game in everything he does from production to his record label. I think as a DJ he plays great stuff, but he isn’t a great DJ technically with his mixing.
Buena música y mis respetos para él por mezclar con vinilos, no muchos hacemos eso sólo que se le va una que otra mezcla, en mi país se le llaman caballazos.
@@Morehuze I contacted Kai Alce and he said it's a speech from Ed Robinson a professor from Virginia State college but I haven't found a video or recording of it yet.
Actually it is Dr. Edward W. Robinson Jr., and this came from a speech he gave at north Philly William Penn High School in 1970. It can be found on Black Rhapsody recording.
Sólo lo que no sirve sacan al aire eso no tiene 1 buen beat para bailar hay otros géneros mejores dub atmósferico drum and bass jungle minimal Hard dance...! Feliz día y buena vibra 👽🍄🌻💀🚥🐞
I was telling that to a friend. His collection does all the work. Only a few tricks are missing to adjust between tracks. anyway still hv good tracks if you like that stuff.
"If you like that stuff"... His audience-among which I proudly number-appreciates his music BECAUSE he actually plays tracks without excessive mixing and tricks. Feel free to chop up tracks however you please @ your own parties. He plays for US. To each their own, but please respect our aesthetic.

Good tracks but the dude is DJ off beats!
coz he's not using traktor dude...
There were kids @ the party "dancing" and kicking and bumping the dj booth. Saw it with my own eyes.
Such bad mixing
