only difference from the current netdeck is he's running sylvana's instead of lightlord and lay on hands instead of forbidden healing. This is in NO WAY a budget deck, its just as expensive as the netdeck only with classic cards instead of the WOTG cards.
I think he assumes that you have been playing for awhile and if so its likely you have cards like tirion and syl. I got most of my legends for free either through crafting or arena packs. it took a while but it happened.
Really? You three didn't get the joke? Are you serious? Do I need to break it down so you guys get it? Maybe you guys can reread and catch it. You see, the term 'budget' in a general sense is how much money you have to spend on something. As a game term, it's a cheap, less expensive deck. So the idea that it's a budget deck is using the first term. That is, it's implied you are given a large budget to make this deck. Damn you three are stupid. No one thinks this is an actual budget deck.
Grinning Goat actually, i was aiming to make the equivalence of the statement "a small loan of a million dollar from my father" by a certain republican candidate...but i failed i guess....still..chill out man, there's a lot of angry in u LOL
A control deck should always have a beefy late game minion to dominate the board. Being able to destroy other minions while boosting the stats of your own is a feature that should be considered by control players a bit more often.
Being on a budget doesn't mean you don't have jack shit for cards. If you can't afford to buy packs and adventures, you should expect to be playing enough to get cards. With dailies, you should be able to get at least one adventure, and enough packs to make 2 or 3 legendaries from dust. Sylvanas is a good investment for your dust, and so is Tirion if you like playing Paladin.
+Leedark3 i opened about 65-70 packs and got 1 legendary... ONE!! How am i supposed to make enough dust every mobth to craft a legendary if im neverlucky. :( i hate blizz
"A wizard is never late Frodo Baggins, Nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to" I saw it yesterday. On vhs ;). "A wizard is never special or unique young once he is simply limited edition"
Thank god this deck didn't have Ragnaros the Lightlord, or else this list would be WAY over my pay grade. Good to know Kripp is keeping the little guys in mind. Seriously are there any other legends apart from Lightlord that this deck is "missing"?
That moment when Kripp asks how it's going, and you start to answer, but then he cuts you off, and you realize he doesn't really care how it's going.... FeelsBadMan
A) Most control cards are in basic set. (The removal that is). B) How do you not have 4 legionaries? I could spend less than 2 months grinding quests and have that.
People that say that buy a shit ton of packs and then say that piss me off. I could try to nicely tell you why you are wrong, but I'm not in the mood, so fuck you
Qwertycal Tyrion and Sylvanus are the two best legendaries since the begining of hearthstone. If you don't have them and you've been playing longer than a few months then either you crafted bad legendaries or you don't play your quests ever. Neither of those things validate the excuse that having 4 legendary can't be achieved by a f2p player.
Wiktor Zawrocki You mean... you can easily get five legendaries for a deck you like to play even without paying a single dime for cards? ASTOUNDING. Do try to remember that the OP was complaining about having to put together 4 legendaries. And that, along with those 20 legendaries, I've gotten hundreds of commons and rares, and dozens of epics. Without paying anything. If you don't want to pay to play, you can expect to spend something else instead: TIME.
+Leedark3 Yeah, but by most definitions, deck that takes around 9k dust can't be called budget. For new players that amount is massive, budget decks are those that take 2-3k dust. Of course you can spend time or money to get it - with average 100dust/pack you would need 90+ packs just to try a deck that may not be good.
Everytime Kripp builds a deck; "Hmm this deck has four slots left what do I feel like its missing? Ah I know!" *Inserts 2 Loot Hoarders, Sylvannas, and N'Zoth*
For balancing aggro, introduce something like enhancements or artifacts that can't be killed directly by an attack, then have one that has all minions cost 2 more. Now ofc that should be counterable but if people choose to do that then they'll be less optimized as aggro as well if it's put on a spell or on bad creatures
They should create a new keyword for minions (Taunt, Battlecry, etc.) called resilience. Minions with resilience can only be triggered after your hero has taken 20 face damage. When triggered, resilience provides a moderate heal and a 3 damage board wipe. This would force aggro decks to target resilience minions, and thus reduce face damage.
I have everything i need for cool Rogue decks and stuff but i don't have some of the tgt and wotog legends yet. And i'm still missing most of the basic legendaries. Got hemet though
Kripp I seriously think you underrate this deck. N'zoth is also a win condition, especially when you have the potential to play two Ashbringers and deal damage at the same time. This deck always maintains control of the board unless you don't know how to play.
I would switch out one doomsayer for Ragnaros Lightlord or another Keeper though...one doomsayer is usually enough, there is already a bunch of board clears in this deck.
if you play free to play you can just save up gold before the expand once you have a good enough amount of previous expand, i had enough for 50 whispers packs when that came out
17:19 HAHAHAHA Also, I played against this deck last night and was thinking "Wow first time in a while someone came up with an interesting deck that wasn't netdecked". Guess I was wrong.
Here's an idea for a card that could trash aggro decks: Low cost, high health, low attack minion with: minions cannot be buffed or spawned by other minions (for example imp gang boss and abusive sergeant would not work while it was on the board) Maybe it could be a 2 mana 1-4, 3 mana 2-4 or 1-5?
I love playing weird decks. They are usually the most fun (especially when you win). Everything else gets old too easily, boring to play and boring to play against. Thief Rogue is super entertaining, except against Shaman, Mage and Hunter. They usually steamroll this kind of deck and you don't really get a chance to play out the things that make the deck fun.
4 legendary, 5 epics, over 10 rare and a few common. A few that require you to buy adventures. Budget deck, eh? (P.s. Please don't start an argument on how easy it is to get. For a F2P player like me who doesn't play arena to get gold or pay money, it takes time to get all that.) Edit: Just looked down at the comments and realised that everyone has already said this xD
I think his deck should add a Barnes. As long as you keep doomsayer in the back of your head then the added chance of a 1/1 murloc, tirion or sylvanas can be HUGE.
Instead of Curator i put Ragnaros Lightlord and instead of N'zoth i put Solemn Vigil so i can draw my combo faster. It works really good! Had to diss some cards because of this deck but i think its worth it.
budget (4 legendaries, 3 adventures) control (OTK combo) deck. when you have 10 million dust and no idea how constructed decks work (kripp), it actually checks out
Thoughts on swapping something for chill maw to add to curator power? I mean there's a chance drak can give it value but its really just for nzoth. Maybe you replace uldaman? Also Barnes is op in this deck bruh forreal.
Hey Kripp, How about shields as weapons? You cannot attack minions with them, but when you get attacked, you still take damage, but then deal the attack value of your shield in damage to the minion. Say, you play a 2 mana 1/5 shield of.. aggro tears. 2/1 runs into your face, you take 2 damage, shield procs and deals 1 damage to it, minion dies, shield loses 1 durability. The problem with aggro is not the damage you take, it's the face you take the damage AND have to deal with the board AND somehow create a board of your own, to even begin to counter it. A card like this deals with one side of the spectrum on its own, and makes cheap board clears like ghoul or arcane explosion better against 3/2s as they might be at 3/1 because they attacked. Also forces aggro decks to be more original, running with more than just 30 1 and 2 drops. What do you think?
My idea for a anti-aggro mechanic: "Defender +X/+X" where "Defender" means "has +X/+X while it is your opponent's turn" Obviously this only works on taunt minions.
19:50 I'd rather have a card ban list. You have 5 or so slots for cards you don't want to see and then you won't cue into players who run them in the deck they're queuing with.
so i thought of an ant-aggro card like: 2 mana 2/2 battlecry:if you have at least 10 cards that cost 7 or more in your deck gain +1/+3 and taunt, or something with such mechanic
hey kripp is there anyway please you can link me either the video or the deck list of the other anyfin pally you've been using that consist N'zoth Tirion and slyvanas please for some reason i cant seem to find it at all?
It seems that control decks cost more in general, whereas aggro decks are generally a lot cheaper. So a budget control deck costs about as much as an high-mid cost aggro deck.
Early game control anti agro card ideas. They are possibly broken but agro is already broken so... 3 mana Living Darkness, 1-3 Taunt Death Rattle Summon a Lingering Shade (Lingering Shade 3 mana 1-3 Taunt,) 3 mana Twitching Shadow 0-4 Taunt Death Rattle, all minions take damage equal to their mana cost. 4 mana Whispering Mist 1-4 Taunt *This minion only takes 1 damage at a time* 2 mana Dirty Rotten Cheat, (Pirate) 1-2 deal 1 damage to all minions when you draw a card. 4 mana Bulwark of Faith, 1-2 Taunt, *This minion is invulnerable if you lost a minion last turn* *this minion can't be targeted by spells or hero powers*
"... a bit of a budget deck"
has 4 legendaries and 8 epics
Oh and also LoE and Kharazan cards.
ye this deck is expensive af
you mean 5 epics?
It is with a small loan of a million dollars.
You wanna tell me that you don't have at least 9 legendarys? The only cards i don't have are the ones i will never use!
only kripp comes up with an 8,000 dust budget deck
+2100 gold
If you count a adventure it cost even mre gold/real money.
actually +4200 gold because of karazhan for the curator
bro why do you look like a bulkier kripp with a bandana
Holy Shit he does look like a bandana kripp
*calls a deck with four legendary minions budget*
well it looks like a budget deck when compared to his wallet decks
plus the 5 epics and required adventures
only difference from the current netdeck is he's running sylvana's instead of lightlord and lay on hands instead of forbidden healing. This is in NO WAY a budget deck, its just as expensive as the netdeck only with classic cards instead of the WOTG cards.
I think he assumes that you have been playing for awhile and if so its likely you have cards like tirion and syl. I got most of my legends for free either through crafting or arena packs. it took a while but it happened.
forgot the sololmn vigils instead of the loot hoarders, but hell that might be personal preference.
17:04 I bet the opponent was so flustered at the holy wrath board clear that he forgot he was at 10 cards. RIP C'thun.
It is a budget deck.
A good, large budget.
Grinning Goat "It's a a sort of budget control deck"
> N'Zoth, Sylvanas, Curator, Tirion, 5 epics
Yeah sure m8
"budget" - Has 3 nonset legendaries, and half of the rest of the deck is epics and rare's.
a small budget of a few thousand gold
Really? You three didn't get the joke? Are you serious?
Do I need to break it down so you guys get it? Maybe you guys can reread and catch it.

sylvannas... check.
loot hoarder... check.
N`zoth.... check.
the symphtoms match with a kripp constructed deck.
Tomoko Kuroki, Please do
Tirion also
Well, curator makes (kinda) sense in combo decks.
"budget deck"
Well, Sylvanas is kinda the only auto-include card for nearly every deck. Its just so fcking strong
A control deck should always have a beefy late game minion to dominate the board. Being able to destroy other minions while boosting the stats of your own is a feature that should be considered by control players a bit more often.

4 rares r u blind?
Must of meant epics.
well i see 5 epics... RIP math
Yeah I meant epics my bad
Ripperino Kripperino yeah you're right I didn't see Lay on Hands
Budget? Legendaries plus with epics plus with adventures.. am i missing something? Do definition of budget changed?
It's so named because it forces you to make Hearthstone part of your monthly budget.
Exactly my thought 😂. A Small loan of million dollar budget
Being on a budget doesn't mean you don't have jack shit for cards. If you can't afford to buy packs and adventures, you should expect to be playing enough to get cards. it's a budget deck compared to the more expensive and better deck that has the same idea as this one this is just a cheaper version of that
"BUDGET" -> 4 LEGENDARIES! LUL
I've never spent a single dime on the game, and I have 20 legendaries.
+Leedark3 well me two and i just play hs since 1 year approximately
Yeah, and if you have shit luck with drops, that equals 5 legendaries after disenchanting, and you still need the epics too.
Wiktor Zawrocki You mean... you can easily get five legendaries for a deck you like to play even without paying a single dime for cards? ASTOUNDING. I tried this deck, but I am using the normal Ragnaros and some other cards for drawing cards. Still works out pretty good and it's fun to play.
And for a second I thought you had an actual budget murlocadin. You disappoint me, Kripp.
I was curious about the deck, but goddamn, the Kripp . . . .
17:20 when kripperino knew that warlock has just fucked up
Kripp, your budget deck has 4 legendries, 5 epics, and includes cards from the The League of Explorers adventure..
Budget deck with 4 legendaries, 4 epics and TWO ADVENTURES. Have you been smelling glue, kripp?
a once saw a user created card that counter agro, cost 3 1/4 charge poison windfury, little bit OP but work as a early boardclear
sick budget control deck, its anyfin pally netdeck. but with tge kripp twist, loot hoarder, sylvanas, and nzoth!!
that heart beat monitor in the intro tho
The end of kripperino age ...what times

Or if nothing new, just add a 1 mana stealth creature 0/5 or something with creatures cost 1 more mana
Never going happen and mana wraith already makes minions cost +1 and Venture co Merc +3
15:00 yeah dude, bgh used to take down tirion ALL THE TIME pre-nerf
Kappa
That moment, when you know you messed up and lost C'Thun lol.... hilarious !
There's always the very violent card with medium-high attack that prevents minions with lower attack from attacking
They should create a new keyword for minions (Taunt, Battlecry, etc.) called resilience. Minions with resilience can only be triggered after your hero has taken 20 face damage. When triggered, resilience provides a moderate heal and a 3 damage board wipe. This would force aggro decks to target resilience minions, and thus reduce face damage.
a good counter to aggro would be something like first strike from MTG, but make it so it can't hit face or some other drawback
That reaction at 17:19

cool deck and all but still not "budget" enough for me and i've been playing for quite some time

Also, I played against this deck last night and was thinking "Wow first time in a while someone came up with an interesting deck that wasn't netdecked". Guess I was wrong.
Love the deck, gonna try it... Just wish I was good in deck building
17:20 - absolutely pissing myself! Hahahaha!
has 3 legendaries, cards from kharazhan and league of explorers. how us this budget?

Here's an idea for a card that could trash aggro decks: Low cost, high health, low attack minion with: minions cannot be buffed or spawned by other minions (for example imp gang boss and abusive sergeant would not work while it was on the board)

4 legendary, 5 epics, over 10 rare and a few common. A few that require you to buy adventures. Budget deck, eh?
(P.s. Please don't start an argument on how easy it is to get. For a F2P player like me who doesn't play arena to get gold or pay money, it takes time to get all that.)
Edit: Just looked down at the comments and realised that everyone has already said this xD
My favourite answer to turn 3 imp gang boss is Swashburglar into sac pact.
why is a Kripp in a weird place now?
pls give answers

he moved his set up under his table
he is in twitchcon
its his new vegan mansion he bought with the succubus
He was kidnapped by isis and is forced to make videos for them, mainly to brainwash you. :>
I think his deck should add a Barnes. As long as you keep doomsayer in the back of your head then the added chance of a 1/1 murloc, tirion or sylvanas can be HUGE.

budget (4 legendaries, 3 adventures) control (OTK combo) deck. when you have 10 million dust and no idea how constructed decks work (kripp), it actually checks out
Thoughts on swapping something for chill maw to add to curator power? I mean there's a chance drak can give it value but its really just for nzoth. Maybe you replace uldaman? Also Barnes is op in this deck bruh forreal.
Aggro counter card:
4 mana 2/6 Taunt *resummon this minion if it takes non leathal damage*
Opinions?
How do you counter Imp Gang Boss?
Just wait for the rotation.
Aggro actually loses a lot once that takes effect.
What if there was a 2 mana 3/3 taunt with *Battlecry:* Gain +5/+5, that also has the "can't attack" text from Ancient Watcher?
1:31 Spectacular FINish
how do you counter imp gangboss? thalnos+arcane blast, thats how, but basically no 4 health minion is supposed to be removaled easy
>budget
>tyrion nzoth sylvannas curator
3:25 Inexplicably is the word you are looking for their Octavian.
Is it just me or I can hear a "beep-beep" every 3 seconds in every new Kripp video?
Tfw you saw that kripp cut out all the control pally cards that you have.
Hey Kripp,
How about shields as weapons?
My idea for a anti-aggro mechanic: "Defender +X/+X" where "Defender" means "has +X/+X while it is your opponent's turn"
Obviously this only works on taunt minions.
Counter to Imp gang boss would be Light's Champion, but it has a limited use than Imp gang boss
19:50 I'd rather have a card ban list. You have 5 or so slots for cards you don't want to see and then you won't cue into players who run them in the deck they're queuing with.
3:30 inexplicably kripp, inexplicably
+Krippian what about a 2 mana 1/5 that causes all minions worth 3 mana or less to cost 3 more?
How about a 1 mana 0/1, at the end of your turn freeze all enemy minions to counter aggro?
how about taking away lay for avenging.. for even more clear?
First strike like in magic the gathering would be a great help against agro
so i thought of an ant-aggro card like: 2 mana 2/2 battlecry:if you have at least 10 cards that cost 7 or more in your deck gain +1/+3 and taunt, or something with such mechanic
hey kripp is there anyway please you can link me either the video or the deck list of the other anyfin pally you've been using that consist N'zoth Tirion and slyvanas please for some reason i cant seem to find it at all?
It seems that control decks cost more in general, whereas aggro decks are generally a lot cheaper. So a budget control deck costs about as much as an high-mid cost aggro deck.
Inexplicably, Kripp, the word is inexplicably.
2 mana rare - 1/1 Taunt: +0/+1 Per enemy minion summoned. Counter aggro neutral card.
about aggro counters
3 mana 2/5 taunt. silence every minion trying to attack that minion (before attack)
The problem is early game cards for control decks usually get used in aggro decks anyway, or are defensive spells.
Can I switch out Tirion and Sylvanas with Magma Ragers?
Early game control anti agro card ideas. They are possibly broken but agro is already broken so...
3 mana Living Darkness, 1-3 Taunt Death Rattle Summon a Lingering Shade (Lingering Shade 3 mana 1-3 Taunt,)
3 mana Twitching Shadow 0-4 Taunt Death Rattle, all minions take damage equal to their mana cost.
4 mana Whispering Mist 1-4 Taunt *This minion only takes 1 damage at a time*
2 mana Dirty Rotten Cheat, (Pirate) 1-2 deal 1 damage to all minions when you draw a card.
4 mana Bulwark of Faith, 1-2 Taunt, *This minion is invulnerable if you lost a minion last turn* *this minion can't be targeted by spells or hero powers*
play majordomo cthun warrior. It is the most fun you will have with a control deck.
its pretty simple you print a thing from above cost 1 less foreach 3 or less minion played by opponent
tfw you can finally build a kripp "budget" deck because you have all the cards
Kripp is actually Dracula. You can tell because he forgot to hide his cape on his left shoulder.
