@@CharlesNauck 1) I didnt say it was "anti-american", a song about disgarded veterans is ironic for a conservative to like since their policies have a direct effect on that (see Regan closing mental health facilities for example). The fact that you conflate me finding it ironic for a conservative to like Born in the USA, to that opinion having any link to "anti-american" is telling. 2) As for your discontent with RATM, I am sorry, only thing that might help you is more reading. I suggest Chomsky's work, maybe you will learn something. 3) Have some evidence for those claims? About supporting people who chop peoples heads off/brutal dictatorships
@@CharlesNauck 1) Yes and George Bush went into Iraq, whats your point? Both parties support wars, again you should read more Chomsky. Incredible that you assumed what you said about JFK/LBJ is relevant to the discussion. Again its ironic if a conservative (the supossibe patriotic/military friendly party) likes a song about disregarded vets, as their party contributes to those condidtions. Are you purposibly being obtuse and building a strawman argument? Incredible that I had to spell that point out for you. 2) It seems you're an expert at building strawman arguments, everything you just said makes a conservative liking RATM even more hilarious. Further reinforcing my intial point. Thanks for playing. 3) You blabbered about socialism in your inital comment, and bitched and moaned about their interviews. You then conflated this point with dictators and chopping hands off. I recommended Chomsky because of your first rant about socialism which sounded pretty stupid, they have tons of interviews so just because I am not a mind reader and knew you were talking about dictators and not your illinformed socialist rant isnt my fault.

Hi friend, how are you doing?
Most often covers are not as good as the original but Lenny kills this song and Heather Graham...woof!
Really relatable, amazing sounding song.

Lenny rocks it but "THE GUESS WHO" did it in the 70's and also rocked it !!!

If you bring a traditional woman to the USA, she will soon be an AMERICAN woman with all the trimmings. Believe me.

True just dont bring them here. Dont eat where you shit.
I had to listen to this July 4, 2019. Happy Independence Day!!!
You too!
Jennifer Camacho I blasted it out my bedroom window while my neighbors were setting off fireworks in MY driveway...
@@CharlesNauck No she has no clue. Just like conservatives who like Born in the USA or RATM
@@CharlesNauck
1) Yes and George Bush went into Iraq, whats your point?
Love you Lenny! Love it! Another smash ! The original is great as well. Lenny you put some funk on it! God bless you and your family.Thank you.
He managed to make an already awesome song even cooler!
Damn right he did
yes i think so too
count
yeah, ol' Lenny been tha sh!t
carolyn oosterbaan nope
this song is more fitting than ever in the current year
One of my favorites. God bless Lenny Kravitz*
amen! to that amazing prayer, how are you doing today dear?
Lenny is one of the last rock legends we got left. Appreciate now while you can.
Side note: heather graham was perfect for this
She's perfect for everything. All music videos should have her in them.
She literally did nothing. Takes more than Eurocentric features to impress me
It’s probably because this song was featured in Austin Power: The Spy Who Shagged Me, starring Heather Graham
Lenny was never a rock legend. He is a derivative, bland poser
A song that's aged like fine wine.
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Soaking in a Georgia pine
No guess who version age like fine wine ...not this
The song is a prophecy come true
Guess Who is fine wine.
This is an apple rotting on the ground being eaten by a magpie.
Not quite the same.
Nothing like the original song.....
