Sherrone Moore and the Michigan Wolverines Football Program make another good addition to the coaching staff as former Michigan WRs coach Erik Campbell returns to Ann Arbor as an assistant WR coach.

Love that “Soup” set a NCAA record in late 90’s coaching 1,000yd receivers at UM for 8 consecutive year. After playing under Bo in the 80’s he’s a true MI MAN! Great hire - Go Blue!!! 💙💪💙
Welcome back, SOUP!!
Gotta love SOUP!!!
Met him in high school at Michigan camp. Campbell is crazy good at what he does, coached all the best WRs we’ve had outside of Anthony Carter & Desmond.
Good recruiter and hire 😁
As a 19 year head coach your assistants make you or break you . Your supporting staff is everything to your success. Go Blue !
Hire is absolute fire
Bellamy is on the Hot Seat! He better show & prove, or he’s done! This is his last chance!
Campbell recruited some really good receivers when he was here.
Am I the only one that thinks Michigan needs a better WR coach? Ron Bellamy is not cutting it. He doesn't develop or recruit well at the WR position.
Been saying that for the last 2 years
Go blue〽️
Most excited about Castillo. Newsome needs some experienced help. As far as Erik Campbell, it can only help, but I haven't heard him talked about as a great receiver coach, just that he's a Michigan man.
A few years ago was listening to podcast where Braylon Edwards was talking about Michigan WR's, he was saying they needed to be coached up a little. He talked about how much Campbell helped him and the other receivers. I am sure Braylon knows WR's and his recommendation and comments lead me to believe he will help the WR room a lot. I think Castillo will also be a great addition as well as Poggi.
@@BradleyDavis-ge5yv Good to hear!
I really wonder if we can get a WR in the spring portal
The quarterback play wasn't bad, it was downright atrocious in terms of being any type of downfield threat. The receivers literally had to run back to the LOS and scrape balls of the turf in the limited opportunities they did get. Seriously, show me the 10 best passes thrown this year. When did the receivers actually get any type of good passes thrown their way? Frederick Moore, Anthony Simpson, Donovan McCulley, and Semaj Morgan provide the collective athleticism to develop into a formidable rotation this spring. Amorion Walker, Peyton O'Leary, Channing Goodwin, Andrew Marsh, and Jamar Browder will all help provide depth. This position will be significantly upgraded just on the premise that everyone will get better with another year in the program and a new experienced OC at the helm.
Would love to see a stat on air yards over 20. I know they threw an INT vs Minnesota and Fresno. However, I can’t think of many connections besides Morgan vs Texas.
He is going to help Bellamy who i believe is lacking as a teacher of WR soup is much more technical and a proven developer.
