I've always been a fan of blues and Motown. I don't understand how I got to be 50 before hearing about Lee Fields. Just criminally under rated and under promoted.
I was fortunate to spend some time with Lee backstage on a music video production. He's just as real without an audience as he is on stage. What a legend, so full of heart but also the pain that comes from having such. I hope we meet again.
