Riding a balloon from Derbyshire with Wickersworld

After at least 4 attempts finally got up in the air in a hot air balloon. Finally the clouds were high enough, visibility good enough, the wind light enough and it wasn't raining.
It was also a lovely day.

My heart wants it and is desperately envious...by my head recognises that the moment I left the ground, an intense panic attack would ensue! So thank you for showing me what it's like without my having to go through it... ❤

I spent half the flight curled up in the basket from heat exhaustion and dehydration. Dawn flight from Cheshire next time.

@@teddy-3765 £284 for the original booking, £100 to extend the voucher, 2 nights in a Travelodge, travel , meals. About £1000 in total but it was worth it.
