I don't think so, as long as it isn't crushed, it takes too much space in the trucks. So than you need more trucks for the same amount of bulk waste. The whole benefits of these garbage trucks is that it can crush and pack the load, so it doesn't take so much room in the trucks.

if you don't take care of a clean environment, the mountain of waste would be larger and nature would be burdened that is why recycling must be done and waste must be collected sorted you can learn something from Europe , how many articles you can make from recycled plastic etc etc
Honestly, this is why Australia is an economic powerhouse compared to NZ. In NZ this just wouldn't happen. The notion of putting all this on a kerb and it just being dealt with is an impossible concept. This attitude permeates all of NZ, and is why NZ's GDP is a fraction of that of Australia's.
We got rid of kerbside bulk waste pickup about two decades ago here in The Netherlands as well. Now we have to bring it to the recycling center ourself, unless you want to pay to get them to pick it up.
@@TheSwords99 i guess it has pros en cons.. kerbside pickup may help others to pick out things as well, but than everything that ends up in the garbage truck is probably gonna go to landfill. With the way we do it here, more materials get recycled. The recycling centers we have to bring it to, have loads of different vind for all kinds of materials. Like garden wood, general wood, paper and cardboard, ewaste, mattresses, hard plastics, soft plastics, metals, glass, garden waste, toxic waste, etc. So its directly sorted on material type, which makes it easier to recycle
Better yet: Get rid of the kerbside pickup, and let people bring there bulk waste to a nearby recycling centre. That way you can sort it out even more. We have this system for a long time now, with recycling centres no further than 15km away from each town. The recycling centers have cointainers for all kinds of things, like: garden waste, concrete and tiles, wood, paper/carboard, hard plastics, plastic packaging, ewaste, clothing, matresses, styrofoam, glass, chemical materials, batteries, general waste, etc.
Not sure how they do it, but if they are smart, they let it pass through big magnets before they dump it in the landfill. So they can take the metals out.
Why didn't the landlord pay for their own eviction debris dumpster? Wow, what city is this that allows that kind of mess? smh as are the neighbors on their porch across the street probably so glad it's being removed -
It looks like the entire contents of a house was put on the curb, for an unreported reason. A lot of it looks usable and should have been donated to a charity.
Most charities won’t take stuff like this. It has to be in PERFECT condition for it to be taken, washed, unmarked, untorn and most of this stuff is just old and worn.
should not be putting those refrigerators in the truck, they contain refrigerant and should be uncrushed and scraped. that refrigerant goes into the environment when they are crushed 😵
This type of collection would not be allowed in England, you would have to take this rubbish to a council run recycling centre to be sorted into different categories and recycled. If you dumped this on the pavement and then put it into one vehicle you would face a heavy fine.
Sorting it with a bunch of trucks isn't so efficient to do. In my little country, they got rid of kerbside pickup in most towns or cities. We have to bring it to recycling centers our own. There they have seperate containers for all kinds of materials.
