@@Hawkshelipad729 No one is getting the C next year. They'll only have alternates. Happens more than you know. Teams sometimes go a couple of years without a captain. The C is earmarked for Connor's second season. Just like with Toews and McDavid.

If I remember correctly, Connor said that Patrick Kane is his favorite player. He even resembles him - facially. Those are some big skates to fill, but I think this kid is capable of greatness!! May he have a long, successful, healthy, & fulfilling career. Hopefully, the Blackhawk front office won’t screw this up!! 🙏🏽

In a way, even as a hated fan of B-Hawks vs my Blue Ballers (who've upgraded team), I'm glad Hawks will be better yet let's be honest, they've got some serious ground to cover to be an above 500 team. They've made some questionable trades and free agent pickup over last five years.
Kyle Davidson took over in late 2021 and overhauled the roster and stocked up on draft picks. And ownership actually cares about winning so I think they’ll build a good team. Although it will take some time

@@foolmenow00 I know what you mean but I don’t think a guy like Bedard is one to lose heart for the game. Improving his game is literally all he does he eats, breathes and sleeps hockey. And they do got cap space so they should be able to sign some guys. Plus some the young prospects are looking promising
