Third season Guliit revolution. All begin when Hoddle bring Gullit in 1995. First season was nice but it they need more quality in squad (11th in Premier League and Semi-final FA Cup). 95/96 season was that when Gullit bring Italian quality - Lebouf, Di Matteo and ZOLA (6th place, FA CUP Winner). This time the club have a chance to win a league title..but the second half season was terrible in league. Fortunetly, they win Coca-Cola League Cup and Winners Cup Winner :) Nice season! :)
Totally agree with you there. The team played with passion and were really good to watch. Unfortunately we lacked a bit of consistency in the league. To be fair though we were a great cup team.
Does anyone know if their is a DVD out there of the BBC 1 show of us V Liverpool in the 3rd round of the F.A. cup 96/97 4-2 game ?? Whatta game that was...Any help I will be grateful for. cheers.
I could dig out my old vhs player and try to put it onto dvd. Not sure how good the quality would be the tape's nearly 20 years old. Not sure if it's BBC coverage but it's the official video release.
