- I'm Aja Dang and here is another What I Spent This Week video! Thanks to Capital One Shopping for sponsoring a portion of this video. CAR DRAMA IS BACK! Not as dramatic as the last video but maybe Chun Li is giving me a sign that she's about to retire?
Also, the food budget is out of CONTROL this week 🤷🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️ Honestly, have no excuse for it besides just liking really expensive dining experiences. But before y'all yell at me in the comment section just remember I contributed 70% of my income towards investments so 😇

" I, frankly, don't like leaving my house that much." - very relatable. 😁
Aja, thank you for being so honest and transparent. Watching you talk about struggling emotionally about your meeting, I felt that. I know that feeling oh so well. It’s usually a sign to slow down and check in on yourself. Love ya sis 💕
its crazy how simple things like tipping people extra can get you upgrades!! I did that at a hotel and they upgraded my room!!
pays to be kind.
And compliments .. I complimented my check out girl at old navy once - her nails were super cute - she gave me a $20 discount. My bf always says I compliment people too much but if I see something nice I say it and I know it makes people's day sometimes but she made my day with that for sure. It was so nice of her and she didn't have to :)
car issues are the WORST!! this has happened to me before, I drove over a nail on like the outer part of the tire and I had to replace all 4 tires also 😭. but $200.60 is better than $1000
whatttt. UGH! Like you'd like there's technology to make tires indestructible.
love this! i feel like if i were to chat through everything i spend money on individually, it would force me to really contemplate each purchase and make sure it's hopefully something that i really want.
Omg when I lived in DTLA, I was getting nails in my tires CONSTANTLY. Try to get your tires insured, then you never have to pay out of pocket for flats!
didn't even know you could insure tires.
Wait what how do you do that?
Thanks for your vulnerability ! From experience, I agree that when there is too much on my plate, I tend to make mistakes and forget important things. It may be good to reassess what you can delegate to provide more brain space :)
currently working on delegation.
omg I can totally relate about being pulled by so many projects at the same time. Recently, I had to sit down and prioritize. Thank you so much for your vulnerability!
I highly recommend getting flats fixed by Costco tires. Super cheap. I've gotten flats over the years, and they've always patched it for less than $20 (I think it's even free if it's their tires). And if for some reason they can't plug the hole, new tires from them are cheap too.
Yeah a simple nail in the tyre can be patched up without having to replace it
A car repair instead of a buying a new car can be a great investment! I still own my 2000 Camry and it's running strong after a yearly maintenance. I love that you are spending money in an intentional way that brings joy to your life Aja!
camry's are so good. My first car was my Popo's Camry that was 10 years old by the time I got it and after I graduated high school it lastest another 5 years haha.
I’m the same w really good food and restaurant experiences. It’s my one expensive thing that truly brings me joy. Will budget $500 for a tasting menu without a second thought lol
going to a tasting menu next week!
So happy that you were smiling by the end of the video. I teared up watching you get emotional. Remember, you are human and overload is real. Consider hiring a personal assistant (local or virtual). Having someone that can assist with calendar management weekly and/or daily reminders may be extremely helpful. I hope that you will consider help to lighten your load. Take care.
hiring a PA is something that I've been meaning to do for years but I can't justify the expense just yet.
These are some of my favorite videos of yours 😍❤️🙌🏼
Lol all of my favorite “influencers” are coming out with planners and I can’t justify buying 10 planners for one year so I’m gonna try to buy one from a new person each year.
but did the other influencers pay off $200,000 of debt using the layouts in their planner?? 🧐😏 www.mstsprln.co 🤪
@@AjaDang THIS hahah we literally saw Aja's *JOURNEY*
Would love a video about how you gradually increased your income. Thank you!
I love these videos! My spending this week has been a little crazy but that’s because we are in the midst of a bathroom remodel. Ready for a budget cleanse soon
ooph, I cannot imagine how expensive a remodel is right now.
Love this series! Thanks for being so vulnerable
My husband and I also spend the bulk of our money on good/local restaurants. Can relate.
I hate leaving the house because know I'll be spending money. I was super productive this week but over spent due to forgetting my card and needing to used cash instead of my saved point 😭.. But managed so much this week. I'm pumped to see what next week brings
Honestly, I put a quarter in for parking only to discover the thing I went to this place for was closed and I'm still annoyed I wasted a real, physical quarter lmao
I'd be mad too! Physical quarters are a rarity! (literally, we're in a coin shortage lol)
I'm currently in Florida from Toronto, Canada. I've been here for 3 weeks and I am absolutely SHOCKED to see how healthy food is not accessible to all. The only place I can shop here for the foods I typically eat is Whole Foods and in Canada I don't think I've ever set foot in a Whole Foods. It's unbelievable and to be honest disgusting that American grocery stores are filled with *trash* and to eat healthy you have to pay a premium.
I've spent 150€ for groceries and 50€ for books this week, and also 140€ for an annual tax. I really should start tracking my expenses weekly like you do because it puts things much more in prospective 😵
Also, I wish I will be able to spend that much on good food someday 😋
I'm working on it though 💪🏼
Thanks for the video, it felt inspiring 🤩
My cars been making grinding sounds when I make a right turn so I’m excited for that mechanic bill! 😎
Sarcasm y’all lol
eeeeeekkkkkkk
Aja, i love your lashessssss. i want extensions that look that natural 😭
I miss your “what I ate in a day” you have some tasty recipes! I still make that ponzu with fish and noods 🥰
that's the best!! Maybe I'll do one of those soon!
Just pre ordered my 22 planner! 🥳
Thanks so much for sharing your life with us.
Loved this video Aja! What movies did you watch with Brian?? 😊 it is good that the cinemas are back and you can go there again safely! Sorry to hear that you missed your meeting, it is so nice of you to pay attention to other people’s time, that is very considerate! I hope that you can reschedule another call with them
Shang-chi... twice ;)
@@AjaDang That is awesome😊I saw it too, it is a great movie! As a martial artist, I always watch and appreciate martial arts movies👊🏻🥋
Did you switch up the length or curl of your lash extensions? They look great!
There's plenty of tread on that tire. That nail fix is about $30
well damn.
Where did you get the brown bag ? It is so pretty. I have been watching you forever. Love you
Yeeey new upload 🎉🎉
I haaaate wasting other people’s time, too!!! Ugh. Hurts my personal brand and integrity lol
GIrl, next time this happens to your tires, tell them to patch the tire if they can! It's way cheaper and saves you from having to buy new tires.
does patching tires last?
@@AjaDang absolutely! and if you or someone you know can pull off the tire and locate the nail, there are kits you can buy for less than $10 and do it yourself. I picked up a kit at the dollar store about 6 months ago and did it. It doesn't require alot of skill.
Your lashes look sooo good
thanks!
Love this video! Please do more :))
Awww she is the cutest thing ever!
Why would anyone body shame you??? You look amazing and, more importantly, you're offering financial literacy like a boss.
Lol I just discovered a delicious Balinese restaurant by my house. It was so good we went twice last weekend. BUT, but, both times we left hungry. So so so fun. 🤪
Maybe get a personal assistant or outsource some of your tasks
Your right healthy food should not cost an arm and a leg
Omw Aja just had to tell you that your self defense video is now trending all over Facebook.. Its too cool
Soooo pretty! 😍
Are you budgeting and using your sink fund?
I am still budgeting and I still save towards sinking funds.
@@AjaDang cool cool, if you budget I would not put too much worry about spending too much on food. Just double your food budget. The sink fund is a bit of a drag, but it would really go a long way to equal out your budget.
was your credit ever bad when you had student loans
I think the lowest was probably 600 bc I defaulted on my loans.
@@AjaDang how do you fix it bc they keep telling me i need to pay it all up front
I just spent $1,100 on four new tires for a minivan. Adulting sucks!
It’s an essential part of life.
This last week was a bit higher for me - had a solo three day trip in the Rockies but it was worth it.
that sounds amazing
Hi Aja! Question, are you financially independent or on the road to financial independence ? Reason I ask is because you're mentioned you have a lot of major events/purchases you are still working and saving up for. Thanks in advance
I think you can be financially independent while still saving up for larger goals.
@@AjaDang I guess we have different definitions. To me if you still have to keep working to reach those goals its not financial independence.
hi
Thank God for capital one ☝️ lol 😂 I hear you
One tire doesn’t cost 1,200.00
❤️❤️❤️❤️
You Created a Master Planner and you still forgot to attend a meeting that was in your PLANNER 😩 It’s like being a broke financial adviser! We are all human, being that you wanted to cry cause you were thinking of the other person you feel you wasted their time, makes you a person with heart and that means the empire you are building will have heart! We can’t succeed, if we don’t fail on the way up! (i must’ve heard that somewhere cause I’m not smart). I hope this week is already going better for you!! Stay strong and positive like the human that you are!! ♥️💪🏽 Thank you for your videos!!
Yay! Third.
Yes…FIRST
Damn your pretty 😁
