Rare is synonymous with infrequent and unique. They are comparatively rare when lined up with all the other mobs in the zone/game. People for some reason think rare only means "rarely spawns". Which wouldn't be accurate for at least 15 years of WoWs existence so i'm not sure why people are still taking the terminology the wrong way with how it's being used lol.

Honestly my favorite part of Plunderstorm was the Comradery of the last 12 hour grind. By the last hours, so many of us had been fighting with/against each other so long we were cheering each other on and laughing during the Queue up. It felt genuinely like the Social World of Warcraft I remember
If Siren Isle is an unused island from BFA's island expeditions, Plunderstorm is coming back again, and we're finally getting a mount that was datamined over a decade ago, that makes me now wonder if they're going to potentially try to fill in content by putting (back) in content that was cut or removed. Maybe we'll finally see some of the cut content from WoD like the Shattrath raid or the Abyssal Maw raid albeit likely not as a raid in either case at this point. Maybe cut down into mega dungeons or multi-winged delves. Blizzard's putting old dungeons into the M+ cycle. Why not add delves to the previous expansions and give them seasons, too? Unused colors of existing items would also likely also be added as we're already seeing that. They should also add in items that never got added to begin with. The T8 mage set from Ulduar's still missing the belt and boots. Not sure how I feel about that honestly, though. It's nice to see unused content finally used, but at the same time it feels like cutting corners to give us content that they designed years ago. Is it really new content in that case? Kind of sort of? The context ends up lost since it wasn't released when it was relevant, but it's new in that we never got it before. I suspect this may be the path going forward to deal with the fast paced patch cycles.
I absolutely love plunderstorm. They just need to give another way like the weeklies for people to get the rewards. That way those that don’t want to play don’t feel pressured to do so.

I'm still against the "No Flying" thing. Korthia was a tiny, crowded zone and I absolutely HATED getting around that dump. Flying lets me get past the stuff I don't want to deal with and get to what matters.
I'm happy for the profession respec because I have definitely felt that brick when I was leveling my leatherworking. The no flying is a bit of a bummer, but there has been times where I feel like I miss out on some hidden gems on the map because I am just zooming across the map.
It is not about drama, it is not about tiny size, it is not about having a jet pack or not. It is about you having an ability - flight - and it being taken from you. Forced disability will not feel nice, no matter what the reason for it is. We have to go to BRD for the Anniversary, now all of a sudden, we can't mount up like in new raids, have to port out to buy flasks and food, so it still feels like a forced disability, even though it's what you will expect from an old instance. That's what the discussion should be about: feeling lost something that's become your normal everyday ability. It's like you have to use a crotch to walk just because that's what the rules on some place say, not you having broken a leg or something.
because flying is pointless on a tiny island where you can go from coast to coast within a minute. Do you really want to flap your wings and dive bomb to save 0.2 seconds of travel time?

Look at it this way. This expansion we have hero talents, how would you feel if they introduced content next expansion that strips these talents out (assuming they are still there) under the pretense that they're unneeded as said content can be cleared with base talents, but we're given alternative talents instead? And before someone swings back with the predictable "ThE iSlAnD iS sMaLl" then disable skyriding and allow basic bitch flight.

This patch I am mainly trying to be the best dressed worgen hunter on the server, because making my five year old daughter laugh is a much better game than the one Blizzard want me to play.
About the ring, i do think they should be powerful enough to be best in slot. I remember onyx amulet not being the case for some classes (considering you are a cutting edge raider). But also, can't carry through other patches, should be a clear borrowed power aimed at helping late progress guilds.
I hated Plunderstorm initially, but it did get a lot more tolerable as they dialed in the rewards and stuff. I ended up actually kind of almost enjoying it by the time I unlocked everything. Would have liked to have seen a new map though, maybe next time.
They can’t buff WotF without breaking PvP and going back to “roll undead or lose” again. Right now there’s already way too many Night Elves and Orcs in pvp, so I think Blizz’s perspective is that the inevitable moaning from people feeling obligated to race change isn’t worth WotF being buffed

If they don't fix the weird phasing issues from the last couple days, then none of this matters. People joining dungeons, BGs, LFR, world events and cannot see teammates/other players every time (sometimes they can see some, sometimes none and sometimes they see everyone). I love the game - but this is an urgent matter that at the current time they seem not to have realized is game-breaking.
I wish they would look the original races racials too not just the Allied ones.. Forsaken racials could use a buff.. and Belf could get some help too..maybe Goblin also 🤔

I was liking it till I got to a match that I was the last remaining person on the map... To find out that people found a way to stay in the starting zone somehow. After avoiding lightning for way, way to long (about hour and a half, I was stubborn and figured if I kept them there they were not bugging other games too lol) I gave up and did not play again. Hoping I can have some fun with it this time. I really like the pirate pets/mogs/mounts.

It doesnt matter if it’s small or not. Wow world movement is absolutely terrible and every time they’ve disallowed flying it has made it 100% worse. You must love having to needlessly re-fight mobs 18 times every time you want to go anywhere. Banning flying has never and cannot improve gameplay. It’s only purpose is to make things artificially take longer to make a small amount of content seem bigger.
I mean, Forbidden Reach was absolutely bustling for its whole cycle. The gameplay loop of flying around killing rares to gear alts was super fun actually.
Its nothing new with the "storm" variant, its the exact same thing as the Future phase for the DF Primalist Future, new mobs new quest some mini events if you go into it
With them buffing races, can they buff Humans, they basically have nothing now. Diplomacy was removed, and the human pvp racial was gimped from removing ALL affects to just stun affects. It used to work as a PVP trinket. I know, I know... "QQ moar" but since they're at it, may as well give humans something lel.

I don't like the mid-expansion patches they've been coming out with. This doesn't seem very exciting and I can guarantee you this patch won't keep players around for long. I suppose we do need something different, but I'd rather have major lore and major in-game events happening like Gul'dan in Legion and the Argus fight with the Titans. This just feels like a huge lull.
In general the patch .7 sounds quite, meh. However, the concept having two different versions of the island sounds interesting. I wonder, if they are testing this concept now and utilize that in Hallowfall later... If people remember that crystal darkening during story before.
If it was all one currency per season or xpac, people would hoard it in fear of spending it on the wrong things early on. More currencies is not a bad thing.

I don't understand the point of disallowing flying mounts and then immediately giving jetpacks. I wish they would just commit to one or the other.
The jetpack is most likely a more limited way to traverse the isle as opposed to what you normally would be able to with a normal flying mount

No shot if you think I'm giving up 3k+ mastery in S1 on a ring when secondaries are as impactful as they are.
One of the gems shown in the video is literally “gain 1.6k of your highest secondary stat” though… plus you still get two more slots.
Very random, but i can’t unlock Argus, blizzard need to fix the damn bugg asap, it’s annyoing as hell. Hoping for that change aswell

I suppose we do need something different, but I'd rather have major lore and major in-game events happening like Gul'dan in Legion and the Argus fight with the Titans. This just feels like a huge lull.

In general the patch .7 sounds quite, meh. However, the concept having two different versions of the island sounds interesting. I wonder, if they are testing this concept now and utilize that in Hallowfall later... If people remember that crystal darkening during story before.
Sounds like I'll play it as much as i did there equivalent in Dragonflight... Pretty much not at all lol
All these currencies are becoming tedious. There has to be a better option
If it was all one currency per season or xpac, people would hoard it in fear of spending it on the wrong things early on.
