I will make the boxes larger to make a coffee table and reinforce the thickness of the boards for more sturdiness, this is a lovely idea ! My Apt in Cairo needs to be beautified and I will be doing this while there on vacation !
I’ve been watching these types of videos, and all the DIYs turn out looking so beautiful! But the first thing I notice is that it’s not practical at all: you can’t store anything inside the cube, and you can’t put anything heavy on top of it because it’s essentially made out of carton board. I need something that is beautiful, affordable, and ACTUALLY functional! 😭
Lola,we may use more carton boxes layers...instead of one-two or three...so the created samples will be more functional...think so...will let you know later

I bought 2 of these tables they were taller made out of partacale board, and light from inside at bottom. Top was a white plastic so light showed through top. Out side had some putty stuff they used pulled up a design or sprayed on sides wish I keep them nice decor pieces.

You commented 4 months ago, but I saw your comment and just in case no one suggested already or just in case you haven’t had the idea yet, you can always print out stencil that you find online (for free) and you can buy stencils at Michael’s or even on Amazon. I hope this was helpful. Oh! And get lots and LOTS of glue sticks. They go quite fast.
The tables are beautiful! How do you get your glue to come out so well? Mine is ALWAYS full of globs and uneven. Anyway, thank you for this tutorial.......it's lovely!👍💗😊🌟💜
It's beautiful but not durable,,b.coz after all it's made from cardboard so,,I think if u have used wood instead of cardboard then it's worth it for all your hard work,,,next time use some durable and strong material to make such things,,,otherwise the design concept of making it from glue gun is really nice,,,👍👍👌

Totally wouldn't guess those are NOT from a high end store. Stunning. Wish I could free hand draw like that but there is always stencils. Oh, forgot to mention that lamp has me swooning too. Hope I can find the tutorial. Haven't kept in touch for a minute. Been snowed under with illnesses and then hospitalization. Any and all prayers for better health are welcome. @Mary Fernandez I know it’s been 4 months since your comment, but I didn’t see a reply. I bought mine on Amazon to create a creepy skeleton mirror. The rolls are really cheep. I think they’re called mirrored (or reflective) vinyl rolls?

When you draw a pattern on glass is it easily remove on glass mirror ???

Lola, we can use a thin layer of wood instead, that is make it strong enough to carry anything above
Just use thicker cardboard. That's all Ikea furniture is cardboard with thin wood

Try foam core board and reinforce the corners with clear packing tape or duct tape.
