He was 26 at the start, he's 29/30 now, and while that doesn't sound like a big difference he looked so much more boyish in the beginning. To delve into the shallow end of the pool for a minute, I think men usually hit their peak, looks-wise, in their thirties, and while Buck was certainly cute from day one I feel like he's more handsome now as he's matured. Everyone else came to the show when they were their adult selves already, but with Buck it's kind of his "growing up" story, from a boy to a man, and it's evident in both his behavior and his looks.
I had to fight back tears, while watching this scene. Might’ve been a pretty quick scene, but it had so much meaning & emotion! Bobby is that “strong” friend, who checks up & helps other people so much... that he often puts other folks emotions before his own. Don’t forget to check up on your “strong” friend, bc they need somebody to lean on every once & a while too. Love this show!
Preach! Hands down to the amazing actor Peter Krause is, he's portraining Bobby so good and that scene was a proof of his great talent :) Whole show is great and the cast is just amazing, mad respect to all of them!
This scene is when I realized this show was special. It took me completely by surprise. The moment he said “help” I just started crying! What this show does so well is it makes you care so much about all of them in such a short time! With other shows it takes full seasons to make you care for them. Not in this one. That do such a good job of showing everybody’s storylines and vulnerabilities. Also great acting by Peter Krause!
As a Firefighter/Paramedic I’ve been here so many times, We need to start asking for help more. Need to check in each other more. PTSD is a hard fight, but no need to fight it alone

Bobby’s ‘help’ absolutely took me by surprise. Him tryna get Buck to joke but Buck didn’t play along was pretty much all I expected, genuinely moved me so much I couldn’t believe it
This scene brings to life the incredible acting skills of Peter Krauss. If anyone watched Six Feet Under, it's no surprise. He is an amazing severely underrated actor
What I like about this show besides buddie is that the whole crew threat each other like family than just co-workers and to me that's really awesome. And Bobby has always been like a father to the whole crew.
This show has my heart. The emotional roller-coaster that I go through with these life trauma events that are real for them is the worst heart shattering feeling to undergo
I just watched that episode a few days ago. Buck was so desperate to get back on the job, I understand why he took that route. Then he got his job back and was so afraid he’d never actually be welcomed back into the 118 family. Took a lot of grace from Bobby to change everyone’s mind on Buck.

Human as we are, we all have our breaking points. It's not always healthy to suck it all up just because you're used to it. Like the people who always breaks you, don't be accustomed to that. If they only knew how much you loved them.

I think it was his daughter's birthday, who died in fire along with his son and wife. He used to be alcoholic due to job stress and mistakenly left heater on. and building had so many fire safety violations, it caught fire and more than 100 people died along with his family. He got the clean cheat because building caught fire due to safety code violations. But he still blames himself for leaving heater on.

Buck has his faults but you'd be hard-pressed to find someone with a bigger heart. We would all be lucky to have someone like that in our lives.
