    I would like to see you do the Gen 4 or 5 because the side bar on them are square and so they don't bind like taking 1st Gen or 2nd Gen does

  • @Locksmith.71
    @Locksmith.71 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Position 4 confused me. It looked like you had a lot of movement on depth 5 and 4? You said 4 then moved on but when you back again you stopped at 5 and moved on.

    Does this work with the latest gen of the kwikset smartly locks?

    Thanks for this video Jay. I have been using the camera decoder and before that I made the 243 tryout keys withy my HPC Blitz

      If you have the camera decoder, I would just use that. I just been waiting for it to come down in price.

    I have a "classic" Lishi KW1 and KW5. Neither fit in the Kwikset 660 (gen 2) Smart key lock I have. I'd love to know what type, and where you got your Lishi tool. I wonder if it's an "Original" Lishi? "Genuine" Lishi? Got mine from AliExpress, and it's not a cheap knockoff clone, but obviously what I need is something other than "classic" Lishi tool. I saw another TH-cam video, where he claimed you need a KW1 to fit, because the KW5 is thicker. So I bought a KW1 Lishi tool, (classic Lishi) and it is also too think.

    Hello my friend, can I pick a kwikset smart key open and then rekey it to match the rest of the house keys if the original key is missing? In other words if there are separate keys for all the locks and some have been lost to time. Can I pick the locks and then use the smartkey option to rekey them all alike? Thanks.

    • @locksny
      @locksny  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As long as your keyway is the same and you have the capability of picking and decoding Kwikset Smartkey locks.
