SRM movement is dedicated to achieve a society where all are equal human (Casteless) and their rights (human rights) must be protected and people must have self-respect in the context of a caste-based society that considered them to be a lower end of the hierarchy. Periyar relentlessly fought for human rights, equality without discrimination based on caste, religion or gender, for widow marriage, against superstitions, abolished the Devadasi system of abusing the people who gave us Bharatha Natyam, and music, for temple entry for untouchables, fought for making all castes as priests, and many more social reforms. Globally, these principles are enshrined under the UN resolutions and all advanced and modern nations are fully committed to these dogmas of SRM. Is SRM anti-brahmin? Then let it be!

Do not pretend as if everything is fine with Jeeyars. Since my childhood I have noticed and heard the criminal activities of Jeeyars (one case closer to my native place the Jeeyar was murdered by the next aspiring Sishaya who became then Jeeyar).
2. All Hindus must be priests in all temples and not only peripheral temples...
3. Temple poojas must be in regional languages. At least I can speak about Vaishnavas where 4000 thivayaprabandam is there which is called Tamil Vedas. There are more divine Tamil pasurams starting from Pallielichi (Awakening the God), pasurams on daily rituals of bathing (thirumanjanum), Poojootals, Neivaitheyam, kapidal, thalattu and so on. Similarly, Thevaram and Thriuvasagam in Saiva tradition is more soul-searching songs but the traditional singers of those Saivite pasurams were not allowed, Why? Sanskrit is a imported language and not native to India and why Gods cannot understand Tamil or local Dravidian language> Is god is racist too?

In fact one of the five original mutt established by Adi Sankara is kudali mutt on the banks of Tunga and bhadra, where goddess shardambha is in standing position. Still themutt is in existence. Sringeri is the branch mutt of kudali.Sri Chandrasekar bharathi theeetha swamigal had accepted kamchi as one of tne mutt established by Adi Sankara.
