This is the oldest mall in Tampa (opened in 1966). It's remarkable how it's stayed afloat with International Plaza just up the street. They tried to compete by opening Sak's Fifth Avenue but that closed years ago and was replaced by Dick's Sporting Goods. IMO West Shore is hanging on because it doesn't attract the upscale customers International does. And West Shore is a local mall whereas International is a destination.

Crazy how Westshore is still doing relatively well, while University Mall is dead in the water.
still got some life just needs more anchor store and it’s complate
Westshore Plaza declines a little more each and every day. I was there the other day in late 2023 and it was obvious that it's failing.
