Flicking lures, chasing bust ups, having fun! Landbased sessions with the lads | Gold Coast Fishing

We usually fish off jetties or on beaches and haven't had much success in the canals (Gold coast too but the places we've gone to have been pretty bad it seems). But what sort of tides do you guys recommend fishing during?

@bensonspov hi mate , I've had success on both , it's very much dependent on the concentrations of bait , flow I feel is more important than tides , I also am a big fan of fishing corners of narrow sections that open up into bigger lakes , and bays where the bait hides in the shallows. Matching the hatch is also very important 😉

@chuckchuckles1688 low 70s , haven't caught many bigger than that in areas I fish. Definitely some propper monsters around tho 😁

Yeah becoming a common catch down here now, sounded up a few in the boat and hooked one a few years ago but as yet am still to land one .....over summer they are caught weekly on the GC 😁🤙
