Hey! Is it better to draw on your design when it's stretched on the frame, as opposed to drawing it onto the fabric first and then stretching it onto the frame?
I have an antique rug stretcher. All four sides look like a large yardsticks that attach to each other by wing nuts. I don't know if it was used on rugs after cleaning to keep them from shrinking or creating new rugs.
What do you call the type of cloth you sell in your shop? You mention it's worth it to buy the "real cloth" but you don't mention what it's called. I'd like to be able to find it when your shop doesn't have it in stock
Is it possible to use a loose weave jute cloth as a base? Hi, thanks for this neat tutorial! I love the yarns from your shop and will order them.My tufting gun model is QZ II
a few say they use a jute burlap, but by far the most popular base seems to be monks cloth. when i try this, i'll use burlap to practice on until upgrading material -- i don't think i'd want to use it always unless i couldn't find the better stuff (which is a possibility!).
I am having similar problems. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get the fabric to stay on the carpet stripes. It just comes out immediately on the bottom.
Literally the best video to teach this. Straight to the point. Thank you!
Can you do a video on all the Marie road u need to make a rug , I wanna start making rugs but I’m having a hard time find videos
I’ve tried stretching the cloth and it was super tight in the beginning and slowly got looser as I stitch away so what should I do
Same
I’m having this same issue too
How long can you leave the material stretched for? Like will the material lose tightness from being stretched over a period of time
