I think that Perospero is also a very good counter for Yamace. Just bait their dodge and its over most of the time. You can also use characters that have status inflictions that prevent the target for moving, i just think Perospero would be the better option.
But if you use pero just to counter yamace , you'll mostly match with other exs without yamace , and also most people hate this ex so not many of them summoned on these
