btw there's ghasts in shattered relics that count and ghost tasks. The minigame also has built-in slayer tasks which might be your best XP, though that might not matter given the lack of slayer points
I did not consider monsters in shattered portals could count for slayer tasks. That's quite interesting

I'm a few days ahead - I rolled the Kharid chunk 6 days ago and getting 5 thieving levels doesn't take that long, so I have actually rolled my next one but I won't say what it is, because, you know - spoilers :)

Actually, the absolute peak of Runescape 3 cutscenes is the Tuska falling cutscene, because Tuska no longer renders in the cutscene.
30k xp is a pretty low cap, which probably contributes to the multiplayer experience being dead. But on the other hand, a 400k xp cap would be a little excessive... Looking at you, empty throne room...
Lol, I haven't seen that cutscene. I unironically enjoyed the Nexus minigame. If I made a brand new ironman I might do it again. But yeah, for a regular account the XP isn't even worth the time to teleport there - it's been powercrept into oblivion
@@Lnvictuss Well, now that you have the bridge between Lumby swamp and Al Kharid unlocked, you can watch it! The astromancer has a replay cutscene option.
So, I wrote a comment about slayer and slayer points and blocking ghost tasks.
TLDR; the first 5 tasks get you no points. The next 4 gets you 4 and 10th gets you 5. 9Points.
You get 9+5 (14) for every 10 slayer tasks past this point until 50. (14*4)+9.
On the 50th you get 15+9 points. 41-49 then 50. 21 points. (75)
The next 2 gets you another 28 points.
This means it'd take 70 tasks to get 100 slayer points (103 total at this point).
Insert the amount of luck you'd need to get 70 tasks in a row without ghosts for when you unlock the swamp caves.
This also assumes you get 0 challenges (which you can now get). Jacquelyn tells you to kill Dragith Nurn for 5 slayer points which would change how lucky you'd need to be to not get any ghosts, and if you get just one it means you won't need to go up to 70 tasks. Getting one challenge means you only need 64 tasks.
75 at 50.
THe next 20 past 50 gets you 28. (The 70th giving you 3 extra points).
WIth one challenge you get +5 points reducing the slayer tasks you need to do to 63. (Getting assigned a challenge gives normal points +the bonus). So on a 1-9 task it would be 6.
50 tasks = 75 points.
+14 for 60 = 89.
+5 for one slayer challenge brings you to 94. +6 more tasks = 66 tasks.
Every slayer challenge reduces how many points you need post 50 effectively.
And this also assumes you get max points for Jacquelyn on her 10th and 50th without smoking kills. You *should* get full slayer points becuse the 10th and 50th boosts the base by 5* and 15* respectively. If you were to get 2 per task then it would reduce to 1.

This is interesting, thanks! I can get slayer VIP tickets as well, though, I already have a few, so I can skip a few ghost tasks for 'free'. Also someone said their are ghosts in the Shattered World minigame which might count for slayer.
@@Lnvictuss yeah, my original post mentioned slayer tickets which will help.
Reading the Shattered Worlds wiki, and finding "slayer" the wiki states "Monster kills count towards slayer tasks, except for monsters spawned as side objectives."
So, yeah, you won't be slayer locked ^_^

Are we sure you don't need to have the Aquarium room built in your house before you can get the fish eggs? I feel like you should have gotten them by now, but then again, when I did this grind I had access to prawn balls.

I would but I actually can't. You need to do the Player Owned Farm tutorial first or they won't drop.
So i was wondering how bad the 90 herb grind would be and its Kind of horrific. Assuming the only thing you can reasonably kill are cave crawlers. Assuming you had unlimited secondaries which is a stretch, A quick estimate of cave crawlers is that each kill is equivalent to about 19.148 xp per kill at the low end. I just checked what each of the minimum potions were but you can make some more. Assuming 89 to 90 can be done with the dwarfs you collect ( Which probably wont be the case) you would need to kill a staggering 252,181 cave crawlers which is equal to 33 million combat and about 11 million constitution xp. It ends up being about as much of a meme grind as 99 consitution. Its almost the equivalent of killing hill giants for 90 prayer
I actually think it might be worse than this because secondaries are more of a bottle neck than herbs from what I can see
