This is exactly what I've been saying. I think its a mix of wwe keeping talent in nxt for too long and constantly bringing in talent in their mid - thirties, old wrestlers and part timers returning for title reigns, and since the wrestlers of the past generations started pretty young (ie. Cena, Orton, Brock, Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian) they're careers ended up lasting over multiple eras. Since Wwe rebranded NXT, they seem to be targeting younger talent again.
