For the rear struts, if you don’t have an impact. Use locking pliers to hold the top of the strut while you use a wrench to loosen the bolt, then hold the pliers under the bolt when the bolt gets higher up until you can take it off
I am changing the rear shocks on my 03 focus S.E. (2.0 DOHC ZETEC VIN-3) 4 DOOR SEDAN, Do you need to use any of the original bushings or replacement bushings because there is 2 kits required costing 30 for one & about 40 for the other. DOES THE BEE HIVE (BUMB STOP) & THE OTHER BUSHINGS NEED TO BE USED WHEN USING AN AFTERMARKET SHOCK EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE HE IS USING IN THIS VIDEO? Can I simply do away with the original setup & just use the new shock & the standard bushings (rubber bushings & metal cups that come with most traditional shocks?)
Hey guys I probably won’t get a response but my car is working perfectly fine the only problem is everytime I turn my steering wheel I hear a popping sound it’s not the power steering it’s maybe the axle idk and too poor to get a diagnostic... Make a tutorial soon pretty please. 😭😭😭

What is a verical?
I used Ford shocks came as a kit with all new hardware. About $49/each. Better quality/longer lasting. Ford dealer can look them up with your VIN.
I didn’t know you could say vehicle with an “R” in there til today
is there a video of doing the front suspension by chance? Also that is a great video for anyone trying this on there own. thanks.
Is this applicable to 2000 Ford Focus zx3 hatchback 🚗 ??
Lenny is literally my fav… maybe even better than Scotty

+Est lhm Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
how do you disconnect the light from the lens on the side panel?
Hammer
You can't.
Great video
My 05 wagon has an access flap in the hatch
All I see in my 06 is two small access ports no where near where he is working
thanks - get video as always
He did the shock-top access all wrong , you can wiggle out the panel without undoing all the plastic stuff and messing with seatbelt.
How to stop it spinning? Is spinning bad for it?
Did not know ford made a focus in a mini van
+Dallas Andrews This is the Ford Focus hatchback. 1aauto.com
What if you don't pump it first?
Excelente! Great!
Just what I'm looking for..
Oh, wait.. my Focus is a 2002 Turnier Ghia. Rear shock is completely different.
Awsome
He looks like Steve Zahn
The replacement part is different. It does not have the bumper stop
