Thank you for the content, as always it's so cool. Been watching many Odoo tutorial video but you're on the practical level. Hope to see more videos from you in the future man, cheers
Great videos for people trying to change these small details on their own. I am trying to find out a way to add product barcode and image into the quotations/invoice Can you make a video on that Thanks!
Thank you for your video-it was very helpful for customizing PDF reports. However, is there a way to customize the sales order template that Odoo generates as a link for our customers? In other words, do you know how to customize the quotation report we send to our customers through a link on our webpage?
@@odoo-it-yourself I'm looking for a way to customize the fields in Online Quotations when sharing a quotation link with my customers. For instance, I’d like to avoid displaying each item individually (non-itemized quotation). Do you think this is possible?
good stuff! Did you notice pages are only numbered in the base pdf and not on the header, product pages and footer? It would be great if that could be customized too!
Thanks for the video, I tried it, but it doesn't work with the re-naming, it just keeps pulling the original pdf... you couldn't notice because you just copied the original. Create a completely different pdf report and then try it... it doesn't work that way...
@@odoo-it-yourself , this is the answer from Odoo; Why is the template only printed with the standard offer and not the variants? It's because the quotation builder uses the standard DIN5008 template. If you want to insert the adapted Quotation/Sale Order PDF Reports in quotation builder, we would need to duplicate all custom PDF reports to have 1 with / 1 without the quotation builder. This means that you would have 12 different template to choose from when sending a quotation / sale order to the customer. Thank you for your Greate Videos ....
Hello! I love your videos. Can you please help me I cant find an answer to this. I want to have my client information (address, email, phone, date) be added to the pdf header page that I built. Where can I find dynamic text values that would do that for me? Or the only dynamic text values that I can use are the ones they present as "common dynamic values" Im a new subscriber please let me know if you have an answer for this. Thanks!
Thanks for subscribing! Adding all of that isn't something I'm sure how to do yet. There's only the fields available in the documentation and it only has the customer name. I'll let you know if I figure something out though.

So you'd have to have an app to be able to do that. I've been looking into building one out to share with everyone, but I haven't gotten to that yet.

You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it. Sounds like you’re talking about the portal. You can customize that, yes. What are you hoping to do?

Hmmm...I'm not sure what you could do there without some heavy customizations.

Dang, you're right...let me look into that and see what I can figure out. Sorry!

I'll add this for anyone having similar struggles as me: remember that you need to be in developer mode to do this
Thanks for sharing!
