Nice, I'm in the same process with my sedan. Im looking into doing the pulley swap as well since I don't want to put the dent in it. Haven't got around it yet but I need to lol
Oh sweet. Yeah I finished the pulley swap already and it's works great. I had to get the d-series pulley hole lathed bigger to fit the b-series alternator shaft. But it fits like a glove. I'll post a video of that in the near future. Thanks for watching!
Because the loom should have a knock and o2 sensors already, I would still have to make this harness with additional knock and o2? Thanks heaps video super helpful ,just confused on this
Yes. The OBD0 o2 sensor is single wire, and this ECU requires 2 sensors. One for cylinder 1 and 4, and one for 2 and 3. Both are in the exhaust header.
Search around for VTEC sub harness. There are some people making and selling them. Depends on you application. frsport.com/products/rywire-wiring-harnesses-ryw-ecu-subharnesses-ry-sub-obd0-b16?variant=39923308298392¤cy=USD&gclid=CjwKCAjw7cGUBhA9EiwArBAvoqwiV2ROqKGjCuuThtE_C13llHHdPTlfofo-HNOarCz7qD9fA5v88RoCGG0QAvD_BwE
These videos will make it 100% easier for my swap thx so much
Heck yeah. Happy someone finds them useful.
Great video! Keep up the good work.
Thank you! And thanks for watching. I'll have some more videos coming out over the next few weeks.

Good to know!
Nice job 👏 👍
Thanks for watching Juan!

I don't know about the knock. But the JDM B16 has two oxygen sensors for header 1+4 and 2+3. So I had to add a wire for an additional o2 sensor.
hello in your archives you have the electrical diagram for crx v-tec thank you
No, sorry. I got all my information from this old forum post. honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/b16a-crx-swap-guide-1193782/
so you used a single wire o2 sensor?

Hi can ask favor my b20 none vtec i install b16 head now im using p28 ecu can you give advice to work vtec
I 'm not familiar with head swaps but I assume to get vtec working you'd need a vtec wiring harness similar to this video.
Did you sell the transmission?
No, keeping it around to drop in a clean shell if I can find one.
@@MakeItSo I found one. Going to inspect it and minimum replace the input shaft bearing.
How much would you charge to make one?

I need one without knock sensor and for b18c.
@@ericvang5930 yep "VTEC sub harness"
Gotcha. I wasn’t sure if it was the same thing.
