back when renault had some "real" engines and not this 1.6 and 1.8 turbo they have now. I still remember this car we had it when I was around 7 years old. Loved it! The comfort of back electric seats and bose hi-fi system omg epic. and it was crazy fast.

Im not 20 so i can buy again the megane RS, i have bought it once, now i need something more spacious with the same or more punch...
And Mitsubishi's "3 diamonds" badge as well because the Talisman lives into the spirit of the "Evolution"/"VR-4" making Nissan & Mitsubishi the 2 only Japanese car makers to be owned by some Mainland European car maker (Renault)
And engineers from Renault said only 268 hp for the Safrane because the 4WD transmission wasn't able to take all the torque of that engine... Hartge has done a very god job on that engine, but sadly it was way too powerful for Renault 4WD gearbox, the germans had in their plans a engine capable of 350 hp while being reliable...
Yeah, too bad they didn't have a better transmission, this thing could've been much more impressive for its time. Still 268hp and 360Nm is pretty good for a vehicle of this segment from the mid 90's. I would buy one and i don't even like Renault.
I remember that the CEO said that another gearbox was considered but obviously dropped after all. But I don't get it. Peugeot and Renault needed 20 years to make the PRV more or less an "ok" engine but when Venturi or Hartge worked on it they managed to do a fantastic job.

You probably mean the 2.2 SI, which is a 12v engine. 2.2 SI has 4 cilinders, 3 valves per cilinder (2 inlet valves, 1 large outlet valve) If you have a 16v Safrane, it is a 2.0 litre, not a 2.2 My parents had a Safrane 2.2 SI many years ago. I loved it! The Safrane is way more solid than the 25, and more reliable than the Vel Satis, which has lots of electronic systems that can cause problems. My favourite: Safrane 2.5 20v RXT manual

En faite d'après les dirent du mec (je l'avais contacté pour des chaussettes de suspils) elle deviennent plus dur en fonction de la charge, elles prennent l'info sur le correcteur de frein AR, et donc un compresseur compence les surcharges, justement pour garder la stabilitée et la trajectoire. Mais pas d'accéléromètre & Co donc oui tu as raison pas piloté ;-)
Oui pour la synthèse et encore, elle n'était pas aussi complète que celle de la saf. Pour le reste suspils, banquette arrière élec, aide au parking, kit mains libres, rétro électrochrome (option que j'ai sur la mienne), les jantes en 17", valise range costumes,...LA plus chère, LA plus puissante, cherche pas personne n'a fait ça à cette époque, en 94 c'étais la reine de la route des french car, c'est pour ça que j'en voulais une depuis tout gosse...!!!
Je sais que vous avez posté votre commentaire il y a un an ,mais si vous n'avez pas trouvé linfo ,le mano turbo ne sert à rien car les pressions turbos avaient une ordre de grandeur de 0,5/0,55 ,pas la sensation de coup de pieds au cul mais plus quelque chose de linéaire.

En France aussi on fait des bonnes caisses mais c'est tellement plus politiquement correct de rouler C1 diesel qu'on ne le sait même pas... Super voiture en tout cas :)
Alors sur espace je peux pas te dire 1 ou 2, mais sur leboncoin tu as des mec qui vendent des kits réfection pour espace à suspension pneumatique, je pense que c'étais une options sur les espaces 7 places, et ambulance.
Superbe machine, j'ai deja eu une 5 cylindres 2.5 entre les mains en boite manuelle mais j'avoues que tester un jour ne serrais-ce que la V6i standard me plairais bien :)
Jamais vu la suspil sur R25..??? Espace oui ... Pour la synthès pareil je doute qu'il est l'oubli de ceinture et défaillance air bag. Mais bon la dernière R25 et la première saf sont tellement proche que c'est tout à fait possible, (j'avais une GTS phI) .
