I can kinda get Nasuada's decision? But it really isnt fair. If it wasn't for Roran's actions, they could've never won that battle :/ I get setting up an example, but sometimes ignoring authority is the right thing to do. Nasuada should know that, that's the whole point of their revolution against the king.
Ive always hated this chapter. It makes nasuada look like a massive idiot. Proved that roran could get people to follow him through great danger? Wow i guess carvahall's people just randomly decided to walk through the spine, attack teirm and take a boat to surda, skirting a whirlpool and 3 empire ships. The last time nasuada talked to roran about command she said that 2 or 3 missions wasnt enough to confirm that he could lead men. I guess 1 more mission is the perfect amount...
