You should have heard the sounds of the old Whirlpool washers made around 1969-1975. They made a high-pitch wailing sound that was addictive. My mother had a 1970 model that sounded like a symphony & my grandmother had a 1975 model that during certain loads had a VERY high wailing sound. It was so good I made a tape recording of it that is 7 minutes long in 1985 & years later transfered onto CD that I still have today.
Do you know the model number for this washer? I have the same washer but the model number came off a long time ago and I’m trying to find a manual for it online.
To where you said in the Description & in the Video that the Switch got disengaged during Intermediate Spin with Spin-Drain, was it that the Lid Switch got released in there, making the Washer think that the Lid is open (Although that the Lid IS open to record the Video of the Washer in action.) & stopping the Cycle until the Lid Switch is activated for the Washer to think that the Lid is closed for it to continue the Cycle? Apparently, among the Controls in the Control Panel, the Main Control that controls everything is the Lid Switch (On the Newer (Belt Drive) Top Load Washers, the Main Control is the Lid Lock Mechanism, among the Controls in the Control Panel & the Start/Pause Button with holding it for 3 seconds to cancel the Cycle.). Also, out of curiosity, what Model is this Whirlpool Washer for your Video here? You can see the Model Number of it by opening the Lid & finding the Tag Sticker in there that displays the Model Number, like for Example that the Washer that my Mother has right now is the Whirlpool Belt Drive Washer Model WTW5000DW.
Oil in the transmission was dry combined with a worn out spin clutch. It's been slipping into neural drain more consistently with those problems taken care of though I think the neutral drain parts could use some replacing.
I saw the description, I always make it a point to read them. I asked because between your many channels, the long video I can think of that involves you besides this is the Bunch of Psuedointellectuals commentary on Mosthatedstuff, which doesn't pass the 40 minute mark. It's also funny how you say that people enjoy this when, while watching this, my youngest brother asked why I was watching this. I gave him a humorous answer, because it would be harder to explain that it was made by someone I consider a friend. I'm not sure if you see me as a friend or follower, but the point remains the same.
Your softener got wasted it slipped into spin and stopped and then clicked into regular spin releasing and draining ur softener. When it slipped into spin during the drain and all the spins for that matter, it should have started accelerating much MUCH faster than what it did, so there’s definitely a few things that were wrong with that machine from I’m sure just regular wear and tear.
Hi, I just purchased this exact machine, but the problem is the model plate is missing and I need to get agitator parts for it. Its a real dilemma for me because I can't order parts without a model number. If you still have the same whirlpool ultimate care 2 machine would you please give me just the model number. Id appreciate it Thank You
They say new washers are easier! If you think about it! The old washers were easy to control! Now washers these days are getting more complicated! (It's just my opinion anyways)
Davida Harris you don't need a new agitator just the agitator dogs you can go to repair clinic dot com and type in your model number and get them fairly cheap
Whirlpool no longer makes these amazing machines. Their new top loaders are completely different. Don't ever trade this in for a modern HE washer. They are crap.
I love the fact that there is a larger group of people that get into the sound of washing machines. I can't sleep without it now. LOL
My favorite is the hotpoint and or G.E. Washers sounds from the timer advance the contact switches to the water fill all of the above.

These machines were versatile and all across the board very reliable. Had two of them and would take on now if I could get one new .
This is great to wrap gifts by during the Christmas season!
Please make this longer, at least 2/3 hours. Love this sound so much!
This is a wash in not a sleep video. Look up white noise washer sounds. I think thats what your looking for.
Hey man, 1993 here and I like those washers too! Found one like 2 weeks ago, Whirlpool direct drive in pristine conditions
The Agitation sounds kinda different from a Kenmore Washing Machine

Looks like she needs some TLC... The suspension needs a little work and it slips into spin during drain (the first time).
i love listing to the washing Machine its so much fun peace @ll oats mego
Looks like detergent in fabric softner dispenser on agitator. Detergent is opaque and softner is milky.
I thought this washer is supposed to have a neutral drain before the spin. Instead it did a drain-spin like the NORGE WASHERS.
Pretty cool with the lift open

So it is suppose to release the Downey then? Thought mine was wearing out and released too soon.

Is this the longest video you've been involved in?
Possibly. I mainly did this since I know some people out there enjoy seeing the full cycle of a washing machine.

I miss that this washing machine model does not have or make a neutral drainage when starting the drainage.
My upper agitator just stripped out, bought new in 2004...Love it ! Where can I get a CHEAP agitator?
Davida Harris you don't need a new agitator just the agitator dogs you can go to repair clinic dot com and type in your model number and get them fairly cheap
Cody Harris I'd recommend Walmart or eBay to get free shipping. I bought the dogs and thrust from Walmart for less than $5 with free in-store pickup.
Got'em under $5 off ebay, installed no problems.
Best Money I've EVER spent & matching dryer too.
This washer could benefit from a little lubrication on the pads and springs.
I actually have videos of it running with a new spin clutch. Just haven't gotten to the springs yet
Looks like the spin clutch wasn't doing to good. They should usually be able to get to full speed by the 2nd spray, even on a full load.
Don’t worry, the clutch has long been fixed now.
@@Windmere Spray Rinse at 39:18.
The spinning part sound like a kenmore washing machine
From what I understand, Whirlpool and Kenmore used a lot of the same parts, which would explain why the spin sounds like a Kenmore.
I seen a kenmore running there both direct drive
I set mine on Double rince...no residue
Thank you

I can't make any promises considering that this technically belongs to my parents, but I'll do what I can to keep up maintenance.
