My Man. Keep up that great work. Impressed with your life and style 👊🏼👊🏼😎
@@crbradbury8282 Thank you brother, I really appreciate you and the support. I’m trying hard bro.
So awesome to see you have your little man help and teach him work ethic and even better he gets to learn about money!! So awesome brother. 💪🏼
@@AmericaFirstOutdoors That’s my best friend right there. He’s always willing to come work with me because he gets to be around his dad. Thanks bro. Gotta teach our kids life skills and work ethics at some point. It’s our job
@@Nothing2Somthing So true! Keep em coming and we’ll keep supporting you along your journey brother.
@@AmericaFirstOutdoors Thanks brother, same
Thank you for posting this video. I wouldn't have thought about pulling shrubs with an excavator before seeing this.
@@fortheloveofdeltaco Makes life so much easier rather than trying to chain them at a customers house. Of course and thank you for watching.
You’re getting it done buddy. Love it.
@@ErnestPerez-rg2uo Thank you brother. I always appreciate YOU.
Good job man. Can’t wait to see the yard renovation.
@@mattrawles3859 Thanks brother. Yes, I come back to this house in a couple episodes and redo the front and side/back of the house. Comes out really nice. How’s work?
@@Nothing2SomthingReally busy. The new business is picking up. I landed my second big job and will be starting that in a week. This is part time for me right now, as I have a “regular job” Monday through Friday. Hopefully I can make this full time next year. It is motivating to watch someone else going through the same things at the same time. See ya out there.
@@mattrawles3859 That’s really smart of you to have a Mon-Friday job to hold you over until you build your business. You seem like you are doing all the right things brother. Keep it up and congrats on the job coming up. What are you going to be doing? How are you advertising?
raking out the tracks in the yard is next level
@@JoelHarris1 Haha Like that? Hey, I treat everyone’s yard like it’s my own. They respect the detail and always call back.
What services do you recommend offering for someone with a small amount of tools and not a lot of money to start
@@BetterThanYesterday69 What tools do you have to start with?
@@Nothing2Somthing electric mower, and weed eater, rake, drill, circular saw, mitre saw, jig saw, oscillating tool, and basic hand tools
Listen to me. You always bid a job to make money. Period. Don’t ever take a cut. No one cares if your shit breaks. They don’t come out the woods and pay your bills. Period. And when you do a good job. And charge correctly. They will pass your name on. Because you did what you said you would. $350 is nothing for a person plus all that equipment you have to use for the day !! Your body breaks down and so does your equipment. I see people vastly under quoting. Most businesses need to make 1000 a day to survive
@@Erock242 I 100% agree with you on everything you said. There’s businesses in the area that play the numbers game and have a strong hold in this area. They would have had 5 homes to go to that day $$$ and did this job for the same price. Luckily I had a free mini X for the day and did it this way. I could have changed them out but didn’t have to. The time this video was made I was learning all my quotes in the landscape arena. I still have a lot to learn and everything you said was spot on. I deal with customers fighting price all the time. I’m now at a point where I can move on and not worry about winning every customer that calls me. It takes time to get to that point and remember. When I started this business I arrived in a new state where I didn’t know a soul. I had $0 cash to live on. I under bid on some jobs to start out and get my name out there. The way I went about it might not have been exactly perfect but it worked and I’m now in a much better place. This year was a customer build year for me, getting my name out there. Now it’s growth, employees in the future, bigger jobs and nothing but success from here. Everyone’s approach will be different depending on their circumstances. How my business played out, was a blessing and worked for me. Thank you for the input. People will definitely fail under cutting themselves constantly.
