Love that Spook! Matt, if you can find a minute, re-watch the footage between 13:31 and 13:42 at maybe half-speed. (You're just starting to pass under the bridge you encounter near the end of the video.) Look down into the water next to your kayak at about the 10 o'clock position Unless I'm hallucinating, a succession of LARGE fish swim past you, headed downstream perhaps 2' under the surface. They appear to be thick-bodied, with broad tails. Are these likely big carp? If not what could they be? I about had a heart attack when I saw them! All the best, Chris

I have to share, you're a real role model for anglers and potential anglers alike. What really gets me is when you hook into a nice fish, we can really tell it gets your adrenaline going, your hands are shaking, you can hear it in your voice... it's the same way I get about bow hunting whitetail deer. It's special and I wish more people could experience it. I truly respect you man

I postponed watching it due to a big amount of work and decided I would treat myself to it after my work was finished as some sort of reward before going to bed. I like that you regularly measure the fish. And your respect in handling the fish with relatively quick release. But, in considering the sizes of the fish, I wish you’d weigh the fish more often, since the length of the fish can be common among them but the girths of the fish can vary so much and contribute to large size differences. Just a thought. Great fishing you provide us with. Thank you!!
