Onboard my first flight with WestJet, this was the first step of my journey home from Vancouver back to London Gatwick. The flight was about 45mins delayed, they said to fog earlier in the morning at Calgary. But despite the delay, was quite impressed with WestJet. Very spacious aircraft and fantastic, chatty cabin crew. A grey, dull day at both ends. Overcast and raining in Vancouver and very low visibility at Calgary, but once in the cruise some nice views of the snow covered mountains at times.

They're allowed; just need to put them in airplane mode. An amendment to the law was even signed two years ago for bolstering that ability.
