My wife found a “free Palestine” shirt I had from college and she said “I’m sure you don’t want this anymore” and I told her… No, keep it as a reminder of how foolish I was. But I do not believe Douglas Murray would ever consider going into politics: He would loose the ability to speak his mind and get run over by the bus of lying politics. While Israel may have been surprised by the attack, considering how quiet Hamas had recently been (so much so, that there were Israeli communities close to the border) MOST of this ‘Israel knew but did nothing’ is more of the political operation to ensure that Netanyahu’s government (and Israel in general) is considered to be ‘at fault’ with regard to the attack.
