  • The Jerusalem Bay Track (Cowan to Brooklyn) is a section of the Great North Walk located in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, New South Wales, Australia.
I started this hike from Cowan Station: goo.gl/maps/Pm...
And I finished the hike at Hawkesbury River Station: goo.gl/maps/fz...
You'll find several other great walks in the Ki-ring-gai Chase National Park - Visit the NSW National Parks website for more details:

We did that walk a few years ago on a very muggy day. We were shot by the time we got home.
I am not sure which is worse, that climb out of Jerusalem Bay or the long descent down that ribbed concrete road at the end. They both killed your legs in different ways.
It's a great walk and a must do I think. Just don't let one of the million bull ants bite you.

The walk definitely has a good mix of challenges. The climb out of Jerusalem Bay did it for me! I agree, it's a must do walk this one!

I did the track from both end: from Cowan to Jerusalem Bay, and from Brooklyn to the dam. Never finish the whole one.
Very close to the entry of Brooklyn, there is a rare known Deadhorse Bay, a sandy beach but no people, great spot.

Thanks for the video, Luke. I have done that walk about 10 years ago and I do remember the tough bits ! It is a lovely walk out in the bush land listening to the birds and peace. The advantage is you can get the train from either end, so no need to think about the car shuffle. Looking forward to your next adventure !

You're welcome, Penny Plant - I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos. That hill out of Jerusalem Bay is a real tough one!! The bird noises along this track make the hike so peaceful. See you in the next one!

@@edyhekul It looks very washed out since we did it 3 years ago. It did look harder to see the track with the surface dirt washed away. The track was a bit smoother then (from memory)

Do you need a moving walkway?
