In India, if you want to learn to speak English fluently, I would suggest learning under the guidance of an Anglo-Indian teacher. Being an Anglo-Indian, English would be their first language, and they can help you learn English in a more organic way. I had previously attended some spoken English classes, but I couldn't learn properly because the teachers used the translation method from Hindi to English and focused heavily on grammar before speaking, which left me confused. However, when I found an Anglo-Indian teacher, it made a real difference. I can't claim to have completely mastered the language yet, as I am still learning.
