I couldn't wait for you to review this bowling ball. I'm torn between purchasing the Sublime, Xponent Pearl, or Attention Star. I don't have a ball that's strictly made for Medium. Would you get the Attention Star if you already have the Absolute? I know they are different, one being hybrid and the other being pearl, just curious of what you think. Thanks for the video
Hey, I'm really tempted to get a star but I already have a widow 2.0 hybrid and a nuclear forge. How would you say the star compares to these? I'm tempted to replace the widow with the star as I haven't been throwing the widow much and have kinda fell in love with SPI stuff recently!
Good review, Ben. The Absolute Power has been a house shot killer for me. I have a fresh RST x-2 is there enough of a difference to warrant the Attention Star, or just stick to what I know works for me?
If you have a good RST X2, I don't see a reason to add this one (yet). That ball was so darn good, but the attention star will have a more pronounced change in direction off the spot. Either way, they fill the same place in an arsenal, so you should be good with the X2
That's a great question. While the two pieces are different, they're not THAT different. If you're building a 12 ball tournament arsenal, I could make the argument that you could carry both. If you're bowling leagues, the attention star would make a great replacement for the eternity when that becomes a necessity.
I'm looking at getting an Attention Star but was hesitant as I already have a nuclear Forge and was worried they'd be to similar down lane. But after watching this its made me realise the star is a bigger ball over all than the nuke!
Great video! I recently won an Attention Star from BowlersMart and just had it drilled. I bowl on a THS on a 2nd shift senior league so the pattern is never fresh. I currently have an Xponent (solid), Hustle USA (hybrid) & an Ice. I'm not quite sure where the Star will fit in and when to use it. Any recommendations? My ball speed is typically 14 mph on the monitor but not sure of revs. PSO calls me a "tweener" which I'm guessing means I'm somewhat speed & rev matched? Anyway, any tips for using the Star is greatly appreciated as I haven't had a chance to use it much yet. Thanks.
Damn thats one of the quickest balls too hook off friction ive ever seen.. feel it will hook from anywhere on the lanes no matter what.. my favorite roto grip ball too date was the original defiant that ball was a beast for me.. i feel i might get the black widow 3.0 and this attention star as well as maybe track kinetic cobalt.
Old fashion full roller 7pm pin, cg middle, bias 1pm layout lower speed will this ball allow me to open up the lanes ? Love and watch all your videos keep up the great reviews !!
Hey Richard. I don’t know much about full roller layouts to be honest, but I’d be surprised if this thing, with a good layout, wouldn’t allow you to open up the lane.
@bowlersparadise2255 Okay, good to know Cause I was thinking about possibly the VEBO but I do really like angular pearls so I'll look more into the star
Ben is bringing another solid review. Thanks!
Thank you my friend!

If you’re looking for a “medium oil” ball, this ain’t it. Xponent pearl is probably much closer to what you’re looking for.
@@bowlersparadise2255ahhh that's what i was hoping you would say lol. My decision is made, Xponent Pearl here we come hahaha
Terrific video.. Kyle Sherman loved the Attention Star in his comeback from injury tournament.
I'm 71 and a lower rev rate guy. This .looks ok to me.
How does 1:19 the hyped solid compared to the phase 11

Attention Star vs Track Therom, C'mon, man!
Ball of the year vs Second Ball of the year lol

Had 300 with mine last Monday! Great piece!
Congrats!!
I'd love to know how you feel about this vs the Theorem. Which do you like better or rather use on sport patterns.
I have the Eternity, would it be wise to replace it with then Attn. Star?, or the Eternity is good enough to keep ?

Thinking of adding this to my harsh reality...tnt...zen pearl..hustle m/m and blue hammer...thoughts?
Seems like a solid addition if you ask me.

Link is in the description 😉
Hey been following you for a while and love your videos. What would you say is your avg speed or speed at release?
Speed at release when I'm not thinking about it is 17 mph, however it will vary pretty substantially when I do different things on the lane.
Old fashion full roller 7pm pin, cg middle, bias 1pm layout lower speed will this ball allow me to open up the lanes ? Love and watch all your videos keep up the great reviews !!

That ball really moves off the dry. Was that a fresh lane?
I had thrown the Harsh Reality and the 2 comparison balls before hand, so not fresh, but pretty darn close.
Nice!
Thanks!
Finally, this is what the people have been waiting for
Are we referring to you as “the people” from now on? Lol
I love a more angular asym pearl. I would be upgrading my nuclear cell my Rev rate is 410. If not the star, what would be a better upgrade?
If you’re coming off the nuclear cell, there is unequivocally no better option than this one.

Day #3 of asking mega mind to paint himself blue for a ball review💙🐐
💙💙💙
Way too strong!
But look at what it does from the inside part of the lane… it’s beautiful once it’s lined up
Can it be tamed down?
Every ball tames down after getting games into it. Had a friend hit his with 2000 and its very similar to the Infinite Physix with that surface.
