I have this exact same map/river layout as you. I deleted my old island in June and chose this map after rerolling for about 2 hours. Like you, I also picked because the airport and resident services were centered. I had been looking for that feature specifically. We share the same pennisula style/size even. My secret beach is in the same spot as yours. There are a few differences though such as my native fruit is oranges and my airport is yellow. My beach rocks are nearly identical on the left to yours with a few minor differences toward the back area, but they are quite different on the right. I have a long dock as well. :) It's nice to see someone else playing on the same map.

Finding an airport that lines up with resident services is a challenge. The last few islands I did that but I didn’t on this one. I like Poncho but I’m not a fan of Renee. She may be ok but she scares me. I can’t wait to see what you do!

I found the easiest way to tell if the airport is lined up is to walk straight from one side of the entrance and then count from the edge of res services over 6 spaces and see that lines up with the edge of the entrance. I think you actually passed on at least one or two that were lined up.

5:24 i believe there is a way to do this! if you make a secondary character on another switch and move it over, all the data (name, birthday, house, items, literally EVERYTHING) will move over with the character to the new island! you can also do some pretty cool stuff with this like being able to terraform, fully upgrade your house and access the dream suite without upgrading Resident Services from the tent. this video explains better than me lol: th-cam.com/video/QQ17983rFMA/w-d-xo.html
there are only 4 maps that line up perfectly in this game. Not sure why they didn't make more than that. 2 of them are south facing rivers and the other is very very close to the airport. And the one you found.
