Never in a million years did I expect Jason Vorhees of all the characters in the universe to be in this. And they made his moveset so creative and faithful, with references to the movies!!

@@pufferfancyfish Yeah, unfortunately Chucky is from Universal, so theres a conflict of interests regarding rights, i guess, and its mostly a WB characters game, past and present.

Some of his moves really reminds me of moves that he has in Mortal Kombat X (Shoulder charge, Grab/Slice...)
There’s only so much you can do with the archetypal buff masked murderer. Obviously there’s some similarities.
@@hotelroom404Yeah, Jason isn't the most skilled fighter in the world, so his moves will be simpler. The big, brutish slashes and charges work well for what sort of creature he is, so why make him do something else?

Seriously, he looks incredible. All of his moves hit with serious impact and it actually feels like he is trying to kill you. Also that fog teleport goes hard as fuck.

I must admit something. I was really reluctant about Jason coming to Multiversus, but I’m over it. I think he’s an awesome villian and I can’t wait to see the future of this game unfold.
If they add ‘final smash’ style attacks in this. I’d picture Jason’s being a cinematic, where it’s the opponent in a foggy campsite. The camera spins around them and little by little you see Jason appear closer and closer, until the camera zooms in on the opponent’s eyes and you see Jason, framed in the pupils slash across the screen. Like the opening of Friday The 13th 6: Jason Lives.

The design itself is very reminiscent of pre Uber jason. Probably why Uber is the first skin they thought of.

I like how buff he looks. He looks even stronger than his mortal Kombat style. Plus he got that teleportation ability so I think that's a reference of his mortal Kombat move
It's just a reference to the movies. He's always magically appearing in front of people, so it's assumed that he can teleport.
@@meathandsmans In MK he teleports by turning around to walk into mist and appear behind the opponent. I think the reference is deliberate because that’s the only time Jason disappears through lake mist like that.

I’ve been playing multiversus ever since it came out and I absolutely love your game I would even go as far as saying it’s the only platform fighter to rival smash bros and I think it’s better because it plays at a faster pace. You guys have done nothing but work to perfect this game in every single way and I’m extremely excited for the release of my new main The Joker aka Mark Hamill who is the one true Joker. I would like to add one suggestion I think would improve your game in the future and I’m sure a lot of people would agree with me. I would like to see the addition of a higher difficulty bot in the lab. So far we can only fight “Hard” opponents. I think the addition of maybe very hard, which is normal in most games, but also an expert mode that will rival PvP competition to help players better train for future tournaments in esports competitions. I absolutely LOVE the horror chord that plays whenever Jason starts charging a move, it's such a nice detail that plays perfectly into his horror origin
I love how they based his design off his Part 7 look with the chain around his throat when he sunk to the bottom of crystal lake, of course they had to cover up the fractured part of the mask for the family friendly tone
This is crazy! Also, I kind of figured Jason would have some sort of analogue to Bowser's Tough Guy/Kazuya's Tough Body immune-to-flinching mechanic. Can't wait to play as him!
